THOROUGHLY PLEASED... David and his crew did an amazing job on my round River Dinning Room table. It exceeded my expectations from the attention to detail in the design and layout to the professionally package and delivery (it was shipped to Philadelphia). The pictures attached here don't do justice to the quality and fine craftsmanship of my table. I can't believe this table was hand crafted from beginning to end. I paired the large round table, that seats 8, with beautiful blue chairs which David previewed and gave 2 thumbs up prior to me ordering them. All I can say is, I'm now in the process of ordering another table and pantry door for my kitchen. David, I can't thank you and your crew enough for your talent and extreme superior customer service EVEN through COVID! I look forward to a long repeat customer relationship.

This is a shout out to Wood Lab in Eagle Idaho. They did a live edge waterfall piece for us in our office that is absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this company to do any live edge work for anyone that is looking for very detailed work. Their fabrication and installation is a 10. I would highly recommend Woodlab to anyone based upon my experience working with them and the beautiful table that they built for me.

I am a hobbyist woodworker that has built much of the furniture in my house. I wanted a large river dining table and I knew the weight and size of the table would prohibit me from making it myself.

I researched builders a lot, from hours on google, to searching Etsy, to looking at some of the traditional stores. At the end, I’d narrowed it down to two companies and I reached out to both. I could instantly tell that Woodlab was going to be great to work with. David Gosse’s response to my email was excited about the project. He proved throughout to be an easy to work with gentleman.

While several states away, I selected the boards and epoxy color. David was great to work with in this regard and sourced boards that had a lot of character in them. He had others in stock too, if you wanted less checks and voids.

We wanted a specific sort of base and David recommended that he have his fabricator build one in light of the weight of the table. It is a good thing that he did, because the table is very heavy, but the base is solid, as is the table. It’s an amazing base.

Getting to the most important part. The table is stunning. The pictures, while themselves beautiful, do not do the table justice. The team at Woodlab are artists from start to stop. It is a 9’ x4’, river table with filled checks and voids and live edges.

In terms of shipping, the crew built a crate for it and it shipped uneventfully here.

Overall, I highly recommend Woodlab if you are considering doing custom pieces for your home.

My wife and I were looking for an artistic and unique coffee table. We discovered Woodlab in our hometown of Eagle, Idaho. We were very impressed with their capabilities and decided to work with them to design and build us a table. We worked with David Gosse, a principal of the business. Bottomline, we were extremely pleased with both the process and product. Following are some comments on the various phases:

Design: This was our highest priority. We wanted a contemporary design and something artistic. Woodlab's tables all have an artistic appeal, but in addition we wanted a contemporary leg design that coordinated with our other furniture. David worked with us on the design and sourced a metal worker that did an outstanding job on the fabrication and finish. Regarding the tabletop, David selected a beautiful piece of walnut and helped us with the epoxy color selection. We love the result!

Customer involvement: From the beginning and throughout the process, we were kept informed and had opportunity to make input. Woodlab wanted to make sure we were going to be totally happy with the result.

Product quality: The craftsmanship of the work is off the charts. Even the metal structure under the table is a thing to behold.... too bad nobody but a toddler crawling under the table will see it.

Cost and schedule: The table was not cheap, but the value of what we got for our money was very high. Knowing what went into designing and building the table, we feel we got a good deal. David set reasonable expectations for the schedule, and he and his team followed through.

Our experience was as a local customer for Woodlab, which is certainly not typical for the majority of their customers. However, I believe their commitment to customer engagement and satisfaction would always come through, it would just involve more telephone and online communication.

Without reservation, we recommend Woodlab.
