This place is the best gift shop in Star! The owner Dan runs a very clean & friendly environment. I've never not felt welcome! I used to do a lot of gift basket shopping for work and Welcome Home events until The Milled Olive offered to help be my main supplier for gifts. Now I call to request and they are always so creative to craft the perfect basket per customer. I've purchased over 20 of their gift baskets and will NEVER go back to fabricating my own. Shooting to have 60 baskets made next year!! High quality, trust worthy, unique gifts guaranteed to make anyone smile.

Great store owners and staff. Angie, Dan, Atari and Tom are all fantastic. Super helpful when giving Oil and Vinegar advice along with suggestions on how to use them along with how to incorporate them in your daily foods. Along with this they have a great selection of gift and holiday items. We absolutely love coming here. They have a great loyalty program as well.

The Milled Olive will never disappoint you gift needs. They even gift wrap.

The signage on this business does not begin to describe the gloriousness of the store, which is one of my favorite businesses. These photos are from September 2022.

The Milled Olive in Star, owned by Dan and Angie McGetrick, has the largest selection of premium, imported olive oils, and balsamic vinegars in Idaho. All are available for you to sample on site. The McGetricks are knowledgeable about the products they sell, and happy to give you suggestions about how best to use them, as well as help you find the ones best suited for you.

In addition to premium olive oil and balsamic vinegars, The Milled Olive has lots of specialty food items, many of which you cannot purchase anywhere else in the state. The Milled Olive also offers home and kitchen, decor, gift items, and they do custom gift baskets.

The McGetricks are in the process of opening a second, and larger location in Caldwell. I can’t wait!

This little shop is so cute. I really enjoyed the different flavors of different items such as honey, salt, olive oil, olives and such. The staff are very friendly and nice. Great atmosphere and lovely little decorations. I would love to come here again. The staff mentioned they do gift wrapping with different baskets and such throughout the store. Very neat little shop. Definitely recommend if you love unique little gifts, decor or fun flavors of honey, olive oil, salt, etc.

A treasure trove of unique gifts and exquisite cooking ingredients!! If you’re looking for high quality, delicious, fresh flavored olive oils, vinegar and seasonings, this is the place! And they have wonderful suggestions and let you sample everything. The owner and manager were so friendly and helpful. I will definitely be heading back for my next gift basket!
