The staff here followed me around the shop to check that we weren't stealing things from the shop. It made us feel incredibly uncomfortable.

I'm fairly certain there was some racism here. It's funny that the only bit of racism we've had here in Lanzarote is from Chinese immigrants. They should be ashamed. We're British Asians

I raised this with the owner who said they do this to everyone and although he apologised for this, the other store owner said that 'we dont' apologise.

I wouldn't recommend using this store. The staff are weird and if they follow all customers around in the store, it's pretty unusual, discourteous and intimidating - but more likely it is racism.

Absolutely disgraceful service, we had bought some bits and pieces in this shop and we're happy and so returned to purchase a phone charger for our hire car the following day. Plugged it in and then as I removed my lead from the device the whole front bezel and inner workings came apart. Brought the item straight back on our return from our sightseeing trip and was yelled at saying it was all my fault and that all their other chargers wherenvt like that. When I suggested maybe I should ask the police what assistance they could offer on the matter they just folded their arms and walked away. Do not give these parasites your money.

Firstly if the first charger was working why would I need to buy a second? And as I already explained, we had gone on a sightseeing trip in the rental car, why would I have driven all the way back to your rip off store just after our first stop, better to find the nearest shop and replace the shoddy charger with one that worked and return the rubbish on our return. And yes your staff started yelling at me right after they got off the phone with you pal. You can try to undermine my review with your ridiculous reply but, what you should have done was refund me and there wouldn't have been an issue in the first place. You tried blaming me saying that I had somehow misused the charger when in reality all I did was attempt to unplug the lead when we stopped. This I am sure should be correct and proper handling. I know people are probably only here for a week and then gone but try improve your customer service in the future. Better luck next time.
