Striking Kitchen & Bath by Bell did an incredible job of remodeling my kitchen. More than that, they came to my rescue when the big box stores let me down. I needed a new sub-floor which the big box stores would not touch. Bell didn't hesitate to take on the challenge!

Striking Kitchen & Bath have some incredible craftsmen who did an outstanding job with the cabinets, flooring, plumbing, electrical, lighting and counter tops. They did it all with incredible workmanship.

However, the person who set the standard for the project was my designer Kristy who is truely amazing. Not only does she know how to design and lay out a kitchen, she is also very well versed in the available products (cabinets, plumbing fixtures, counter tops, etc.). As a result, she was able to blend her knowledge with my preferences to produce an incredibly beautiful kitchen.

I strongly recommend Striking Kitchen & Bath by Bell Plumbing!

We recently had our master bathroom remodeled by Striking Kitchen and Bath. It was a lengthy process (first time in the 30 year life of the house), but everyone involved was professional, highly experienced, punctual, friendly, and they kept the worksite clean. They made us wait for months during the recent supply chain problems, to ensure that *all* the parts for the bathroom were in the warehouse before any demolition was begun. Frustrating at the time, but it meant that once the process was begun, it didn't need to stop, which was a godsend in the long run.

I must especially note that Kristy, our designer, helped us go from vague ideas and a simplified 3d model to the reality of the bathroom. She coordinated with Cliff (of Alpine Glass) to do the glass block work like they were old friends, despite not having met before that I'm aware of. She helped us with all the finish details, and the result is the simply gorgeous bathroom shown below.

Striking isn't the cheapest option for a bathroom remodel, but you get what you pay for.

We will almost certainly use them (and Kristy) again, when it comes time to make changes to the kitchen.

Absolutely fabulous from start to finish.
We remodeled our ground floor from a huge half bathroom to an office and half bath, including a small storage unit.

Rebecca, our designer, was always responsive via email and text. She was clear on timings, process and price from the beginning and they completed the job on time and within budget.

Every single contractor that came out was professional, arrived on time and did a great job. They communicated with us via text or call and we never had an issue with them.

Our remodel needed a complete bathroom relocation, so plumbing, electric, flooring, drywall, paint, texture, HVAC and even concrete were needed. There were no major issues during the entire process and when there were small problems, Rebecca and her team responded immediately and resolved things in a timely manner.

I highly recommend Striking Kitchen & Bath by Bell for all of your remodeling needs.
Thank you, Rebecca and all the team!

We worked with Striking Remodels to add a 2nd floor 1/2 bath in an old, but well maintained Victorian house. The project was fairly complex due to tight space constraints, odd angles, and old house quirks. Striking did an excellent job working through these challenges and delivered a beautiful bathroom that exactly matched the existing quality / style of the house. They were highly responsive to feedback throughout job and deliver quality work.

This is an honest review/feedback, hoping it can help Striking and customers. Pro: 1) Our designer, Adrienne, was incredible. She was THE reason we decided to go with Striking. I researched a few companies as this was our first time doing a big remodel project EVER and really had no idea where to start. We were down to our final two companies for our kitchen remodel. The first company (Kitchen Tune-Up) had a lot of positive reviews. However, when the sales person came out, we told her we wanted a bigger island and shared some photos with her. She immediately went into execute mode without explaining to us what was needed. We got a quote from her later in the week and was asked to sign the contract so they can start ordering material. Again, we still haven’t selected cabinets or the quartz or anything like that so we were confused. In contrast, Adrienne took her time from the get go; she listened to what we wanted and answered all of our questions. Adrienne helped us select our cabinets, handles, grout and all the fine details we didn’t even know existed. Looking back on the project, what we went with in the end with Striking is what the first company had proposed. It’s just Kitchen Tune-up didn’t take the time to explain it to us and helped us through the process. Adrienne made a big difference and is why we decided to go with Striking. 2) the folks who showed up were nice and professional. They set up and cleaned up after themselves.
Cons: Unfortunately, our experience was Striking after that was below average. 1) the cost breakdown on the contract was very confusing. We were trying to cut costs down to get within our budget. It wasn’t until the third time after plugging in my excel spreadsheet that I noticed the costs of material was broken down but labor wasn’t. So no matter how much Adrienne tried to help, the material cost reduction was insignificant as 75% of the cost was tied to labor. For comparison, Kitchen Tune-up's quote was 30% less overall and had labor and material costs broken down (the opposite for Kitchen Tune-up where material costs were 70% and labor was 30%). We still went with Striking because we really liked Adrienne and already finished the design phase with her. 2) We expected the install to be on par with what we experienced with Adrienne but unfortunately, the actual workmanship was the second con. We went without a sink for 5 weeks mainly because of the fabricator so it’s not Striking’s fault. However, the plan was to install the cabinets first and the first guy who came out did things incorrectly – the floor boards were cut incorrectly, the sink cabinets were cut incorrectly and the toe kicks were not installed. The next man, John, came to complete the work but he was only here for two days before another person took over and finished the backsplash (probably the best part out of the project). Then electrician and plumber came and after that, silence for a month. After waiting for so long, I decided to contact the install team to which another new person came into the project. He told me he will have to redo the boards, the support for the sink , the toe kick and then he will fix the sink cabinet last (as a work around to avoid ordering another cabinet that would delay the project further, we decided to go with adding a panel to cover the incorrect cut). The next day, I was waiting for him to come back but by 10 am, no one showed up so I texted the project manager only to find out, he was sent somewhere else but that he would schedule another guy to finish the project. Well, the next day, the guy only installed the doors and left. I find myself repeating the project to each new person because it seems communication within Striking wasn’t happening . 3) Towards the end, we were left feeling because our project was considered a small reno (5 cabinets for kitchen island and backsplash (approx. 15K)), we were left on the wayside. The project did complete in December (started the process in March) at least so they did finish the project (last 4 pictures).

Started out great, but service went quickly down hill. The design work was great, and I was told our designer would be with us every step of the way. This is not true and some aspects were changed without my knowledge - ie bathroom mirror was spec'd at 36 x 55 and was approved by me at that size, what got ordered and installed was a 40 x 60 - it was way too big and looked terrible, I went and bought the smaller size and installed it myself, which they did reimburse me for, but I don't know why it was changed. Follow through and communication was terrible, it took 11 weeks for them to replace our bath cabinets, mirrors, lighting and paint, they weren't even full remodels. I was told a large part of the delay was due to a lighted medicine cabinet that kept being backordered by the manufacturer. When I asked the project manager why we didn't look at alternates he said that was the designers job, when I asked designer she said she didn't know about it from the project manager. Designer disappeared during construction and when we had problems with the project manager she was no help and just referred me back to him. The only reason they get 2 stars is because the craftsman was awesome, he did amazing work and had to redo some things - like the patching on the wall for the mirror change up, he was very courteous, clean and his workmanship was great, but overall I cannot recommend Striking, it was a subpar experience.
I have used Bell Plumbing & Heating (Striking is a division of Bell) and I can recommend them, they are phenomenal. I just can't recommend the Striking Remodel side of their business.

I had an excellent experience with Striking Kitchen & Bath by Bell. After listening to my concerns about the current kitchen (from 1995), particularly the poor use of space, Anna Haley created a design that has given me not only more and easily accessible cabinet space, but additional countertop space, too. It’s extremely important to maximize the space in a small condo kitchen; I now have room to access my wedding china (instead of being shoved in a box in the entry closet the last 18 years) and I can use it every day. All of the extra cereal boxes and cooking oils that couldn’t fit in the cabinets and had to sit out on my countertop and on top of my refrigerator are now housed behind closed doors (even the trash and recycling cans), making my kitchen no longer look cluttered.

We went with UltraCraft cabinets, which are designed very well (and have the soft close!), and a Blanco Precis sink that matches my cabinet/floor color (no more boring white or stainless steel). I have Pental quartz countertops (no more Formica!) with an extended backsplash behind the sink. The Exotica luxury vinyl tile floor is a beautiful color/pattern, and now extends into my dining area and entry for easy cleaning. I also have new ceiling lighting in both the kitchen and dining area (no more track lighting!), and beautiful accent lights over my sink / bar top area. While the electrician was on-site, I decided on matching ceiling lighting in my living room, giving me options for dim to bright lighting in the whole space. Electrical outlets, venting, and plumbing are now up to code.

Andrew Stone was my craftsman; in addition to being a highly competent professional, he was pleasant to have in my home, and gave me good advice about choices I needed to make.

Eric Medrano, the construction superintendent, worked with me on any concerns I had, and shared with me a web-based communication tool that kept us all informed about what was going on during the project.

I was able to do my own demolition, painting, and appliance purchases to keep costs within my budget; Anna was also good about working with me to select affordable, but still beautiful, options for a small condo kitchen.

Each day since the renovation was complete, I’m pleased with my choice of Striking Kitchen & Bath by Bell.

We have long talked about remodeling our master bathroom, but never liked the original footprint and no solid ideas of what to do. Through the years, I have done work myself, had friends help out, and source out projects to the 'lowest price' contractors. With this project, we decided to try Striking Kitchens and Bath, due mainly to their reputation and reviews we read, and I wanted it done right. To say that the results were 'Striking' really falls short of the mark. The work that these folks did is remarkable. Our designer, Kristy, worked every step of the way in listening to our concerns, and recommending options when we were at a loss for what to do. She designed a plan that completely transformed our bathroom, gave us exactly what we wanted, and stopped by regularly to monitor the progress of the project! Once the work began; Rahul, Nathan, and Justin did a fantastic job--not only in the quality of work, but their professionalism and following through on the schedule that was provided for us. We were very comfortable welcoming them in our home throughout this process. We are so pleased with the results, we're thinking of doing the kitchen next! You cannot go wrong with this awesome group of professionals!
