It's one of the best ace hardwares i have ever been to. They have so much there and even had some things I needed to complete a job that you can't find anywhere. The team there is so friendly and nice and especially helpful. They have the coolest greenhouse that they fill with the most beautiful flowers and outdoor offerings that you will find anywhere.

Not your standard hardware store. They do a great job for the area.

I’m on vacation near this ace hardware and received service that is becoming rare these days. I was missing a part off my grill and they sold me the part for the replacement cost in order to get me back up and running. It would have been easier to just tell me no and send me down the road but they chose to help instead. Thanks so much!!

Just want to give a shout out to Jaret at Ace Hardware in Salmon, Idaho!!
I needed to buy a pet carrier today and not only did Ace employee, Jaret, show me where the carriers were…he even put it together for me!!! (Even at the end of his shift at work!!). In my opinion, THAT is GREAT customer service!!!

So we drove an hour into Salmon to spend $338 at Ace today on some supplies for a local company that we work for. Because it was so hot outside, we brought in our dog (who side gigs as a therapy dog for the elderly) while we spent an hour and a half in the store shopping for our large order. As usual, the employees here are so helpful and friendly! The bummer of the story is that while we were in the store, the owner made two huge signs that said “NO DOGS ALLOWED”, and posted them on the door. One of the other employees commented on this to us and laughed while we were checking out, saying that it was posted because we had brought our dog in. I can’t for the life of me imagine why a leashed and well behaved dog would not be welcomed into a hardware store... looks like we will be shopping at Lemhi Lumber and Murdoch’s from here on out!
