I worked with Larissa Hicks at S&W Kitchens on a full kitchen renovation. She was wonderful from start to finish. The design process was great - Larissa is very talented I was so impressed with her design, as we had to completely rework my existing kitchen layout. She was very patient as we worked through budget and nailing down details. Once the reno started, I got to work with superintendents Davin and Tim, who were a pleasure as well. Always checking on things and keeping me updated. We’re really happy with our new kitchen. Even after completion, Larissa promptly assists us with warranty calls, etc. to ensure we are happy and taken care of. She really does it all. She even applied the limestone paint on my hood! I recommended the team to a family member, and a (family) referral says it all!

I have known about S and W for years growing up in Winter Park. So pretty shocked at the professionalism here. After my appt i have received zero contact, for weeks, (unless I made contact) and today i was told by the rep after I politely asked if there was an update, I AM WORKING ON IT! I understand the kitchen market is on absolute fire but this is no way to speak to a customer. The better response is I apologize for not having an estimate to you on Monday as I promised and more importantly I apologize for not contacting you first so I thank you for contacting me. I have plenty of money to spend but this company seems to have no interest.

Victoria Pratt was the designer and managed the project from start to finish. She captured the view I wanted as you walk in the front door of our 1950's bungalow! I can not say enough about her professionalism, her willingness to share her expertise and ideas -- and of course, as expected during a major renovation, her sense of calm and managerial leadership during the 'storms that occasionally pop up'. Her responsiveness is 5 star! From David to Joe to the entire team of professionals, we thank you for making our home makeover so very beautiful with our new kitchen!

We are remodeling all 3 bathrooms in our home. My husband and I have been putting it off because quite frankly we are complete opposites when it comes to design preferences. I'm so happy we reached out to S&W Kitchens -- our designer, Victoria Pratt, has spent a lot of time getting to know us and understanding both our functional needs as well as our styles. She has been so patient and has provided solutions and beautiful design options that we both like...no small feat! Highly recommend S&W Kitchens!

We began working with S & W Kitchen's in April, 2022 planning our kitchen renovation. We are currently starting the 2cd week of this renovation. To date, all of the staff we have worked with have been professional, responsive and very skilled at their respective jobs. Gina Cerimele, an S & W designer, has been with us from the beginning. She has an amazing attention to detail, amazing design skills, encorperated all of our wishes into the design plans, meticulously organized, stayed on top of and communicated regularly about the process. Once all the products were purchased and received the renovation of our new kitchen was scheduled to begin. 2 weeks prior to our start date Gina brought our Project Superintendent, Daniel Neris to our home to view the space and review the steps of the renovation plans. Both Gina and Daniel, were very thorough and detailed about the coming process and set up a group text to keep us all informed and on the same page. Our kitchen renovation began 12/5/22. I can't say enough about Gina and Daniel's leadership and strong project management skills. They have been either at the job site or in communication via phone or text daily. The crew that Daniel assigned to our project, as well as all the trades, have exceeded our expectations. Jamie and his team are highly skilled, extremely hard-working, on- time, very personable and extremely neat and respectful of our home. To date, the process could not have gone better and we are excited to continue to work with these amazing professionals . I will update this review as the project continues. Thank you S &W kitchens!

September 6 2023 UPDATE:
It has been 8 months since my initial review of S & W Kitchens and our kitchen renovation is complete. We couldn't be more pleased with the result. The entire renovation project continued as it began...with a highly skilled, accountable and personable construction crew and trades; strong leadership/oversight from the Project Superintendent (Daniel Neris) and Designer (Gina Cerimele); excellent communication and an organized, structured and highly detailed construction plan. With all the pre- construction planning that went into this project, we only had 1 unforeseen electrical change order with a minimal cost. Every aspect of the project had been well thought out and accounted for. When construction issues did occur the construction team already had a solution before, we even were even aware there was an issue. Being able to trust that the team was on top of and able to effectively problem-solve any issues certainly reduced the stress and anxiety of our renovation project and was greatly appreciated. S & W Kitchens and all of contracted trades demonstrated highly effective communication patterns which furthered the productivity and high quality of our kitchen renovation project. Everyone on the team freely, openly and respectfully shared information amongst each other and this led to a project with no significant surprises. Overall, this team-oriented group was fully invested in our kitchen renovation vision and laser focused on delivering a high quality, beautiful kitchen of our dreams. We would highly recommend S & W Kitchens to our family and friends and will certainly use them for future home renovation projects. Thank you S & W Kitchens.

We worked with S&W to renovate a kitchen, powder bathroom, hall bathroom and completely create a bathroom. It was a huge, huge process. We have a 1930s colonial and we were looking for someone that could create rooms that would fit in the vibe of this home, but be very functional and durable for our young family. We followed Larissa on Instagram and contacted her - she met with us quickly and was bubbling over with ideas for our project.

I’ll start w/ her and her team… Larissa is talented, organized, incredibly responsive and detail-oriented. From the initial meeting, you’ll be charmed by her - she’s funny and full of amazing ideas. She has a knack for creating spaces that are gorgeous and functional. She understands how a family actually lives in a home and helped guide my husband and I in selecting layouts, fixtures, and products that would support our needs. We were debating a butcher block island top and she told us a VERY relevant story of when her son was small and used to stab a counter with his fork. I watched my 2 year old stab my just installed quartz island top last week and thought - whew. That could have been a nightmare. She absolutely understands the needs of her clients and makes a gorgeous space that fits.

Larissa is also so, so patient. During the reno process, we obviously had to make many decisions about colors, fixtures, cabinetry, etc. As mentioned above, Larissa (and her assistant Alex) are wonderful at preselecting a couple of options because they understand their clients. This gives you a choice when it’s time to pick these things without creating too much noise - but they have no problem going back to the drawing board time and time again to patiently figure out what works best in your home within your vision if the choices they’ve given aren’t what you love. They also were patient with us when we couldn’t quite find the right paint color in our newly designed master bathroom - which HAD already been painted. We simply didn’t like the color once it was on the wall. Larissa and Alex both came over with samples, walked through options and helped us to find the right color. And now… we love it.

In addition to Larissas vision/ talent… she selects people to work with her that are fantastic. As mentioned a few times, her assistant, Alex, is wonderful. He’s organized and calm. He’s reliable with a cool aesthetic. She works with an amazingly talented cabinet installer, Joe. If you’re lucky enough to have him on your project, it’s going to be perfect. We had a very difficult project because we selected inset cabinets and have an old home, so the floors are uneven. The walls are uneven and the ceiling? It’s uneven. But with inset, there is zero room for error or the cabinet will not fit correctly. Joe's job was done flawlessly - absolute perfection. Plus he is the tidiest human I’ve ever met, which was SO appreciated when completing a huge home renovation. Her tile team is fabulous and flawless, her appliance installers get the job done right.

Related to the construction side of S&W… this is always going to be a little tricker b/c to my knowledge NO ONE loves living in construction, which is exactly what we did (with a toddler). However, hindsight being 20/20, I will say that the teams selected by S&W did quality work. My favorite on the construction side was Carlos - his team did a wonderful job of demo and framing. They even caught issues that would be a problem down the line and corrected these.

Truthfully there were (many) times that I felt that we needed more communication, more results. But, overall, our end product is superb. Anything that we found to be less than, they’d work to get fixed. Even after our project wrapped, Mike (our PM by the end) dispatched relevant teams to correct any small issues that cropped up. I'd say a huge benefit is that S&W will stick to their word, they will show up, they will answer their phones (even after the project is wrapped). Which I think is pretty unique and shows a level of quality that I would recommend.

My wife and I purchased a 1987 home with a horrible floor plan and a kitchen that would require a complete tear-out. The kitchen walls were angled with jogs, drop ceiling and loose floor tiles. We knew that walls had to be removed making the lanai part of the main living area. After much research, we contacted S&W Kitchens of Tampa and met with Lacie Rice. Lacie was a delight to work with. She was knowledgeable about the process and very attentive to our needs. Her ideas and design expertise created an awesome floor plan and a fabulous kitchen. Joe was a perfectionist with the installation of our beautiful kitchen cabinets topped with crown moldings. A large island was created with a space for a beverage fridge that my wife and Lacie talked me into, and they were right :). Daniel Neris of S&W Kitchens oversaw the contractors during construction and both Lacie and Daniel went above and beyond to ensure the workmanship met the high quality standards promised by S&W Kitchens.

We had a wonderful experience working with Lacie at S&W. She helped us to transform a dated kitchen into a modern beauty. There was a lot of "dead" space and Lacie was able to utilize and maximize the area. She helped us make selections that fit with the style of the house and offered options that we had not considered beforehand. The work was performed in a timely fashion with very few surprises. The work area was kept clean and everyone was very professional. This was the second time using Lacie (and S&W) and we were equally as satisfied, with this project, as we were with the first.
