I was looking for a custom kitchen cabinet provider for my newly constructed home. I searched for months for a custom kitchen cabinet maker who can help us design the kitchen within our budget. The search ended the day I called Ronbow and booked the first meeting. The entire crew has been so helpful in designing a contemporary kitchen, selecting the finish, showing the 3D design, suggesting the corrections, explaining the material quality, and finally building up our kitchen, and delivering it to our door. I got it installed with my contractor but Ronbow agreed to send his worker to fix a couple of post-installation issues.
The complete project was for almost 6-7 months for my mid to large-size kitchen. I agree that it could have been faster if their couple of designers didn't have to leave the job in the middle for some reason.
Overall the experience was very good. I would like to especially thank Echo for her help. I am so impressed with her attention to detail, design ideas, responsiveness, and punctuality. Sometimes she responded even when she was on vacation to make sure timely completion of a task and complete
project.
Overall I will give 5 stars to them.

We were building our new home and we almost visited most of the stores in the Bay Area to find Modern kitchen cabinet. We also visited custom cabinet shops. We were getting either very high price or not what we were looking for. Almost after 4 months of search, we found Ronbow at Livermore. We worked with Jason and Echo. We also met with his super star automated founder/engineer Roger. They helped picking best choices without adding too much cost. Best thing was when there was supply chain issue, Ronbow committed to 4 weeks deliveries. Our house got delayed but Ronbow delivery was ready. They offered storage without additional cost due to covid issues.

During design phase, they found that pentry cabinets would not look good, they upgraded to maple wood (due to matching color with panels). It was awesome gift to us.

They delivered all cabinets and we found some pull out drawers were old style (not sure what happened), the moment we talked to Echo, she immediately sent replacement.

We chose to install through our contractors and we found that some cabinets didn't have good alignment, Echo sent her engineering team 2-3 times to make sure we get best services and alignment.

3D Design was perfect way to visualize and make sure what we needed. We needed some extra shelf, they immediately sent extra shelves and panels. We did 2 experiments, 1. I wanted to create cabinet temple and 2. needed oil and spice cabinet connecting countertop, but both came out perfect! Also their design suggestion saved us from future problem.

Overall, it was awesome experience with Ronbow. We will 100% recommend to anyone who needs modern kitchen cabinets with best quality.

Repeated delays and lack of communication

Ronbow promised 7-8 weeks of lead time when ordering. Now I am on week 13 and still have a lot of missing pieces.

Ronbow's customer service consistently do not communicate changes in delivery parts and date times. This has caused me to arrange for installers just to not have anything to install.

Ronbow's customer service is dismissive of our problems and tell us to install parts and pieces while waiting for others.

To give you some ideas, so far we have received deliveries with
1. Missing connected cabinets
2. Cabinets with missing filler
3. Drawers without fronts installed
4. Shelves without supports
5. Island cabinets without side
6. Top cabinets without bottom

I would not recommend Ronbow to anyone.

Sincere and genuine company growing into direct to consumer.
There's churn from design learnings, for example cabinet dimension for wall oven didn't meet spec, covers does not match appliance design guidance, push to open doesn't work for trash bins, but was designed in.
Reacted very quickly to our feedback and request until everything was perfect, made multiple trips to fix every issue.
Also very accommodating to issues caused by GC, for example - GC scratched a panel and Ronbow replace for free
Great lead time, good solid product, and willing to work with customers.

A few hiccups during the building process, but giving them 4 stars for customer service and quality. Any issues were quickly addressed by their customer service line. Also, their lead time for custom cabinetry during the pandemic was unmatched by any other showroom.

I purchased kitchen cabinets from Ronbow in mid-2022. I was very impressed with the exceptional service, especially from the manager James Zhou. He worked with me on the kitchen design with great suggestions on layout, color selection and details. James is very knowledgeable and professional, always very prompt to answer my questions, and open to my suggestions on areas of improvement. Selina was quite friendly and helpful as well. Ronbow cabinets are good quality, the production and delivery were quite smooth. Overall I had a great experience and highly recommend Ronbow.

We ordered our entire kitchen cabinets with Ronbow and we had a great experience. They provide high quality cabinets with a lot of customizations! The turn around time for fabrication was very quick. Overall, very happy with the experience and the cabinets.

Had high hopes from Ronbow but I cannot express how utterly disappointed and frustrated I am with the delay in my cabinet delivery.

We got our final on-site survey done on May 22 and placed the order (submitted and paid in full) on Jun 10 and was promised 4-8 weeks delivery time (as advertised on their website). 

When I contacted the designer to inquire about the status of my order, they said they will not know until it goes into production. I don’t expect this response from a company that boasts of local manufacturing facility. 

As the days turned to months, I continued to follow up but the customer service has been abysmal. Got this standard response full of disclaimers.

“Estimated Completion Date: 9/15/23
Please note that this date is an approximate, and while we strive to meet it, unforeseen circumstances may arise that could cause slight delays”

With their current ETA, the cabinets will be delivered after 4 months from the survey, with a strong possibility of further delays. Our remodeling project is on hold and we have already been without a kitchen for several months now. This is in contrast to their website advertising fast lead times of 4-8 weeks. When we brought this to their attention, the customer service shrugged it off saying their lead times vary with the order.

Their inability to communicate effectively and keep their promises has been very frustrating.

I hope this review serves as a warning to others that the lead times of 4-8 weeks on their website is misleading and also prompts the store management to take a hard look at their operations and customer service practices
