Out of all of the places we have ever eaten, this one ranks as one of the worst. From the grumpy waitress to the building itself to the down right horrible food. I would never recommend this restaurant to another person . We’d rather eat greasy diner food than go here again. The best part of our meal was the fries. I had a burger on Texas toast. The bread was somewhat soggy and the onion rings gross. The burger itself was dry. My green salad looked so bad I didn’t even try it. We won’t be going back. There are other great places to choose from in Orofino.

I came here with my children for dinner last night, and to my surprise, I also happened to see a couple other tables that were friends of mine, also eating out with their families. We all have small children, so of course there was baby babbling, occasional screeches, and playful energy. Our waitress (Katie) was AMAZING! Her patience was endless, her smile was infectious, and her service was wonderful. The only negative part of my experience was one piece of the atmosphere, and that was due entirely to another waitress (Faith is her name) who wasn't even waiting on any of our tables, yet always had some sort of negative comment, eye roll, and hair flip every time she walked by, which was a ton of times. This other waitress was scoffing at those of us with children, even going as far as saying "Oh my G*d" in annoyance when a baby would make a noise. She doesn't understand the amount of annoyance We all had to go through just witnessing such a sad and rude employee who doesn't seem to grasp the idea of customer service. I would like to say that was the worst of this other waitress's behavior, but it didn't end there. She was extremely rude and unprofessional in her demeanor, not only to the customers, but also to her fellow employees, especially to our waitress who was doing such a great job juggling all of our tables. Our waitress (Katie) was so warm and inviting, it seemed unfair for her, or anyone who works or eats there for that matter, to be subjected to a person who so obviously doesn't want to be there (the other waitress, Faith) She was almost bad enough to ruin the whole experience, if it were my place of business, I'd get rid of the ones who were bringing it down and praise the ones who were holding it up. Our waitress Katie was a 20/10 and thanks to her, we will be back. (I just really hope that other waitress Faith won't be there! Luckily, we can always request a different waitress if she is, though, she still took the air out of the room every time she entered it.)

Katie is the most amazing waitress I've ever had the pleasure of having! I will 100% request her every single time I go here to eat! The other waitress (Faith) was a very unpleasant person to have around. She has absolutely no customer service skills what's so ever.

Very comfortable restaurant with delicious food and great service. We were in town for three nights and had dinner here twice. Our waitress, Sharon, was so friendly and prompt. Although we didn't have her on night two she remembered us and stopped by our table. You don't get this kind of service much anymore. The cinnamon roll purchased for the next morning breakfast was delicious.

We stopped by the Orofino Lumberjack Days & Clearwater County Fair the day before (Saturday) and decided to stop by on our way back Sunday.

We wanted a local breakfast place, and this fit the bill.

We had the ham & cheese omelet (hashbrowns/sourdough bread) and veggie omelet (hashbrowns/whole wheat toast). Hot, tasty, and the portions were large.

This is exactly what we were looking for. The prices were fair, and the employees were great.
