Absolutely unacceptable customer service from the Pella team. NO ONE should go to them for windows. We had Pella windows installed in our house 12 years ago. Some of the windows are okay, but all of the bedroom windows were installed by an inferior team and they were never completely weather stripped or proof. I have been dealing with a bedroom that in the winter gets as low as 55 degrees consistently. However, that changed this winter. The windows in my room got so bad that I was now experiencing temperatures as low as 45-48. We called Pella in early December expecting to hear back in a timely manner.

Tell me why it took over a month for you to respond to a customer when the complaint was cold related in the dead of winter? Do you not care about how you leave your customers in the cold due to your inefficient customer service? We finally heard back from the over a month later to schedule an assessment. They found every weather stripping in our bedrooms completely failed, however they never worked since the beginning of them being installed. Not to mention, because of shoddy installation, I have water damage all throughout the wall my window is on because water has been seeping from the window into my wall, creating a terrible any issue in the summer.

What really makes my blood boil is that they ignored us most of the winter when we desperately needed working windows, and now they think it’s acceptable to have our fix at the end of March So I’m just supposed to face another winter of being completely cold in my own house? This is completely unacceptable and yall should be ashamed that you are making your customers suffer. NEVER use Pella if you want reliable consistent customer service and quality work to be done. I can’t tell you how many problems have been caused by their horrible installation of our bedroom windows.

When researching new windows we kept hearing the brands Pella and Andersen repeatedly as being the best in the business! However when working with our contractor, Heritage Contractors, we were happy to be taken to the Pella showroom in Naperville while Andersen had no real showroom to be found in the Chicagoland area! At Pella, my husband and I found a team of great window experts like Tom and Jane who really know their windows like the back of their hand! Figuring out which windows were a good fit for our home was an easy task as they helped guide us through the entire process. We were never was pressured or rushed to make decisions and we always felt comfortable asking them any question that came to mind. When replacing every window in your house it is so important to find people who care about getting the DETAILS just PERFECT just like you do! I was so happy to be able to touch and see the actual windows we were purchasing in person at the showroom. After choosing the Pella Architect Reserve wood aluminum-clad windows and getting them installed I can tell that our investment will LAST A LIFETIME!! Thank you so much Tom, Jane, and the rest of the Pella showroom team who always made me feel at home when returning to the showroom to confirm our window selections for the final order! We are THRILLED with our windows and know we made the right decision!! (We are currently redoing our landscaping and front porch and will update with final photos soon.) What a before and After! TEAM PELLA ALL THE WAY!!!!

Larry was recommended to us, and he surpassed our expectations. He is a first rate Pella pro who was with us from start to finish on our full home window replacement. We needed new windows, but we also wanted to use this project as an opportunity to update our 25 year old home. With Larry's guidance and expertise, we were able to do just that. His eye for detail and design along with Pella product knowledge helped us create the look we desired. He communicated the benefits of making certain selections, and the renderings confirmed the choices we made. The install crew carried through on our vision. They showed up on time and hit the ground running. The team executed a clean, organized, communicative, and capable job throughout the 3 day install. Every Pella employee we encountered was prompt, respectful, clean, kind, focused, and skilled. We couldn't be happier with the final product and the professionals who made us the envy of the neighborhood.

I had to have a kitchen window replaced. The representative came by my house to provide me with a quote. After researching other businesses, I decided to go with Pella. The representative returned to my house on February 14, 2023 to sign the contract and informed me that materials would not be available until June, 2023. The installers came on July 3, 2023 to install the window and informed me that all of the materials were not in and would have to come back. In the meantime, they installed the window with the weather wrap, but did not have any of the trip needed to complete the job. The installer told me that they would be back in a couple of weeks to complete the job. Two weeks later, I contacted Pella to find out when they would return and informed the person on the other end that they did not have all the materials even though I was told that it would take until June, 2023 to get all the materials. I was transferred to a Manager, who informed me that he had just started on the job and was not sure why they didn't have all of the materials. In the meantime, he'd research it and call me back. A couple days later, he called to tell me that they would be back on August 23rd to complete the job. I contacted Pella on August 21st to confirm and was told they would be out and had all the materials. Well, I just got a call from Pella informing me that they would not be able to make it because it was a 2 man job and they would not be able to come until September 23rd. Are you kidding me! This is ridiculous! We started this contact in February and it is now August and my window is not installed. I've given Pella $2,985 dollars on February 14th and another $2,400 dollars on July 3rd and have a job that still is not completed. Based on this horrible experience, I would not recommend doing business with this company. I'm still waiting to get a call from the Manager to see if they can come sooner. Radio silence.

Well, they came back out today (September 25,2023) and didn’t bring all of the materials to finish the job. Are you kidding me! This is by far the worse customer experience of my life! I will never use or recommend Pella Windows to anyone. I called to speak to a Manager and of course the Manager wasn’t available. I added two new photos of the incomplete work.

Dave Waechter is amazing! 25 years ago, he orchestrated replacing all 42 windows in our house - custom sizing, tricky installation, etc. Ever since, we have called him with questions, concerns, and an occasional SOS. Dave always responds immediately. Most recently, we had a door that wouldn't lock so there was a security issue. Pella Service scheduled an emergency appointment but it was a week out. I called Dave; he came over and figured out how to secure the door until service could get here. Dave is a credit to Pella and a friend to his customers! The world needs more like him!

Pella is on the 4TH attempt trying to install a good big front window of my house. If I Knew I was going to have to take a week off of work for one window. The original job had a sliding door and 4 other big windows. It’s less than 3 months till 2025 and my front window hasn’t been completed!!! The customer service of nobody knows who I should talk to!!! I won’t be finishing with more pella

This experience exceeded my expectations!! The value of my home for sure increased once we did this. We replaced all the windows in our house along with 3 doors. Every step has been so professional my salesperson Josh called me the first and second day of install and stopped by on the final day, no company I’ve used has ever done that!!! Mario and Robert were amazing with the installation, great craftsmen.

We have been using Pella in both our previous home and now our current home. This time around we had them replace all the windows on the Western side of the home. One of these days we will replace the arched window. From the initial consultation with the sales consultant to the installation we are extremely pleased with everyone at each stop of the process. We highly recommend the Pella team. The only type of window I put in to my home.
