I recently had the pleasure of working with NYC Interior Design and was thrilled with our experience. We’ve been spending a lot more time working from home because of the pandemic and decided to upgrade to a larger space. This is the second place we purchased that needed interior design and upgrades throughout and we wanted to add more storage, built in workspaces and new flooring, paint etc.

From our first meeting through the final phases of the project Erika and her team were a delight to work with. They truly listened to what my wife and I wanted, and executed the vision end-to-end with outstanding results. They have a lot of experience in design and renovations and this made a huge difference with hiring the right local vendors.

I’ve been through the pain of trying to find a good contractor in Manhattan before and the truth is the best local vendors are usually booked up with work so you waste a lot of time getting quotes. This includes not only contractors but electricians, painters, designers, plumbers, architects etc so we felt fortunate to work with their team and vendor recommendations.

Erika is a very talented designer with a keen eye for color and craftsmanship, and we shared similar values in finding well made items that were either vintage or by new makers which will appreciate in value. I posted photos of two of the items we purchased, a vintage lamp they found at Brimfield Market, and a chair by a newer designer. They also spent a lot of time showing us beautiful fabrics and furniture options. I can’t emphasize enough how much love and care they put into designing our home. Highly recommended.
