One of the nicest people I've ever met in any trade. He is extremely passionate about the things he is passionate about, which is so rare now days. He knew I was coming into his shop for simply information and authentication on a recent purchase, and he not only gave me over an hour of his time, but shared and gave me information that I wanted with the same enthusiasm that I had, but gave me such an honest response. That is hard to find now days and plan on on paying a premium for something from him in the next week for simply giving me such a good experience on a high rarity coin that I plan on keeping and he knew that from the start. I am not giving this review as a favor, I've only met him one time. 10 stars if that was available. True passion on things from people are so hard to find and I for one hold that in a high regard.

This review is a month late but when asked by a friend where to go and sell some gold, I could easily answer “go to Rich”. This prompted me to leave the review I said I would gladly do after selling some silver bars. Rich is extremely friendly, honest, transparent and most importantly fair. He also has a great mix of coins and bullion for any collectors budget, along with detecting/prospecting supplies and information. Overall just an extremely friendly guy to talk “shop” with and do business. If you have young numismatists I highly recommend stopping in. Good chance they will leave with an album or some world coins to get them excited about the hobby. Which reminds me I need to bring in some old albums to donate. Do yourself a favor and stop in. I had an extremely enjoyable time visiting Rich and his coin shop. I brought my girlfriend along to sell some coins and learn about the small treasures I have collected and traded for over the years. He kept us laughing and informing us about coins, gold, mining, and life. Super fair with the price but the interaction and conversation was worth more than any coin. Very friendly and fair. The shop is just slightly off the beaten path and somewhat cozy, but the folks inside are far more pleasant than the guys with the fancy storefront. I'm glad I found them!
