We meet with Laura Nell prior to moving into our new house. We wanted to get the ball rolling so when we closed, we could hit the ground running! Our project was to convert a 1st floor "wing" from 2 separate rooms that were a media room and office, into a game room with a pool table and bar with a wine cellar. On our 2nd floor, we converted a bedroom into a gym. Our design team, Laetitia Laurent, Rob Lawn and Paula Pope are fantastic. They looked at the whole house and gave us ideas for the whole house and not just the original project that brought us to them.
During the design phase we were able to see our ideas come to life with the colors and textures that they suggested for us. We made iterations as needed, which were few, and then it was time to make dreams come to reality!
We met with the general contractor and planned a date to start the renovation project. While I recognize that living in a house that is undergoing a drastic change is not the best idea, our team was amazing. They did everything they could do to make sure that we had as little dirt and dust as possible. The GC was on the job multiple times a week, if not a day, to make sure that everything was going to plan. If we ever felt that something wasn't going the way we thought it should, both Laure Nell and the GC were hands on making sure we were satisfied with every aspect of the project.
One of key reasons for choosing Laure Nell was the assurance that they gave us that the contractors that they work with were top notch. We would never be left wondering if someone was going to show or the project was going to be completed. The companies that Laure Nell have curated to partner with are stellar. This firm has really taken the time to partner with some of the best business in the area.
Seeing walls come down, tile removed, new flooring installed, walls finished and painted or wallpaper put up, cabinets and countertops installed, and then furniture staging was a very exciting process. Our rooms are complete and we soak up our new space the way we intended and the way our design team envisioned when we first met over a year ago! Perfection takes a moment and we are beyond thrilled with the vision that Laure Nell Interiors had for us. You will not be disappointed by the professional service and dedication this firm gives you. We always felt like their top priority, and that is not an easy task.
