My experience at this store was easily the worst I've encountered in retail. I was in search of a specific fitting for an extra bathroom and I was shown few options. But salesperson’s attitude changed when I showed a photo of the bathroom. According to them, my 1995 built home was too old for their products. When I mentioned the possibility of future remodeling, the response was not only unprofessional but also derogatory, implying I'd need to win the lottery to afford such changes. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and reflects poorly on the store's training and ethos. No one should patronize a place where staff feel entitled to make snide remarks about a customer’s financial situation or home maintenance plans. Save your money and your dignity by shopping elsewhere.

Amazingly helpful! We pivoted at the last minute on our project and suddenly found ourselves needing things quite quickly. Naomi went above and beyond to help and have special order pieces delivered faster than I had expected. Really impressed with the service. Would absolutely recommend this store.

We have almost completed a remodel of two bathrooms plus a kitchen. We have bought extensively from the Kohler store in downtown Portland. Therefore, we have come to know Kara quite well. My husband and I love her. She knows the Kohler product line backwards and forwards so we knew we could trust her input and suggestions. She is personable, easy to be around and work with. She has been incredibly accommodating. As an example of this, I forgot to purchase a shower drain face cover and the tiler was coming to tile the shower in two days. I called Kara in a minor panic and she said "don't worry" and called around everywhere and found a polished nickel plate for me. Everyone at the Portland store has been very friendly and helpful, but I have to give Kara a shoutout for going above and beyond.

We went to this store today and really enjoyed it. We are shopping for new toilets that flush better than what we have, Kara was very helpful and knowledgeable. I also asked her about bidet function in a toilet and she pointed out to me that it is possible to just buy a special bidet toilet seat lid and attach it to the toilet that we chose. I am very happy with my selection.

Kara was incredible! She was professional, knowledgeable and brings a design eye to the project. We love the Stillness line that we used for fixtures, and shower heads. She was prompt with her response time and was a master at problem solving. I will start here with future projects and remodels. She simplified our master bath/closet remodel!

As a first timer on remodeling a bathroom (or any part of a house) I was a little overwhelmed to say the least. But I walked into this store and met Nisha Evan was extremely helpful and highly valued throughout the process. Particularly with helping me navigate tight deadlines with my contractors and obtaining my sinks and fixtures in the time frame I needed. Nisha was great with communication and so helpful with researching options and putting together the right package for the needs and requirements I had. She was easy to work with and very personable while being professional. I'll never forget that she offered to drive my sink part way to my home in the gorge to help me out with delivery timing! She was really willing to go the extra mile. Highly recommend!

I purchased a toilet from here and spent about a thousand dollars on it. It had issues flushing from the moment it was installed. The fill valve in the toilet would sometimes stall when flushed and fail to initiate the toilet to fill back up, and the toilet was missing a rubber gasket in the box. The plumber and I called this store and they deferred responsibility and said call Kohler directly for assistance as they are just a showroom.
Kohler customer service was not helpful in resolving my issue and they were rude to the plumber I was paying to try to resolve my issue. A guarantee or warranty is useless if they make it so difficult to navigate and impossible to use. The plumber said this is fairly common from their interactions with Kohler customer service.
The toilet, not even a year later, still fails to refill intermittently after flushes and I have to open the tank to tap the fill valve down to initiate the refill.
I do not recommend purchasing products here and I do not recommend purchasing from Kohler.
