Wow, I'm so impressed with the work we've had done through Kitchen Tune-Up. We needed a total redo on our kitchen, but didn't want to spend a fortune on new cabinetry. We went with Kitchen Tune-Up and had our old cupboards painted and re-doored, plus had them build new cabinetry and drawers and put in a new backsplash and counter. We also had them convert for a farmhouse sink, which I love, and convert an old cupboard into a trash drawer. So impressed from start to finish. It is a totally different kitchen. Alex and his crew did a meticulous job on their work, always on time and so professional. I've had a lot of workers in my house over the years, and I felt more relaxed and comfortable with Alex than anyone else we've had here. Jake was amazing to work with. He went above and beyond to get some custom mullioned doors like I had envisioned. He was always positive and a joy to work with. We've had our cabinets about 9 months now, and I waited to review to see how the workmanship held up. I can honestly say that our cabinets still look brand new. I love the thermafoil- I would never go with anything else now. I get compliments on my kitchen all the time now and I always tell people to go to Kitchen Tune-Up. So grateful for the great work they did for us!

I have a very small but functional kitchen. It was remodeled quite a few years ago but needed updating. I didn’t want new cabinets but I did need a little first aid as a result of the regular wear and tear. We needed new counter tops and a new backsplash. It was a very small job and unattractive to many remodelers. The cabinets seemed to be a deal breaker for them and for me. Those other businesses wanted to paint my cabinets or remove them all together.

Oliver and his team took this novel approach called “Listening to the customer.” We had a quote within minutes of the first visit. I will admit that I was a little fussy about some of the details. They made sure to get them right. Once we pulled the trigger it all went relatively smoothly. It wasn’t 5 days, more like 5 weeks, but warp speed compared to many updating projects and we were never without the use of our kitchen. Here’s what they did for us and the timing.

1. Within days of signing the agreement - Completely tuned up our cabinets. Made them look less worn and revived the finish. (4 hours)
2. The same week as the cabinet tune up counter template (30 minutes)- Replaced the counter tops with modern granite and a new undermount composite sink. (1-2 hours to install about 3 weeks after template)
a. Word of advice- line up your plumber to be there on the day of the sink install. KTU does not do plumbing. I did this and had a fully functional sink within 30 minutes of the granite folks leaving.
b. Make sure to pick up your new faucet for the plumber to install.
3. 2 weeks later -remove old backsplash and install new back splash in an even larger area than the original space (12 hours).
It is exactly what I needed in a fair amount of time. Everyday when I look at my kitchen, I am so glad that I did it and it makes me so happy.

Colin, the sales rep, was excellent to work with, professional, personable, and patient. He was also accessible throughout the project. Our technicians, Dustin & Ricky, were good craftsmen, paid attention to detail and solicited our input and critical eye all the way through the resurfacing and installation. They inited questions and were determined to address any concerns to our satisfaction. They cleaned up as they worked and at the end of each day. Really nice guys and skilled craftsmen. Another technician who joined them for about half a day, Andrew, was also very knowledgeable and capable. The end product looks very good.

I love my new updated kitchen! Alex did a fantastic job! He paid such great attention to detail and was so proficient and professional. He was so pleasant to work with. In less than four days all my cabinets were prepped, primed, and painted. There was never a big mess - Alex kept everything so cleaned up that we were able to function in our kitchen during the painting process. His touch up work after was great - he left my kitchen looking so nice! From the initial bid from Casey to the completing of my kitchen update, everything ran smoothly. I am very pleased and would choose Kitchen Tune-Up again!

Kitchen Tune Up did an outstanding job on my kitchen!! I started working with Kitchen Tune-Up in the summer of 2018. I sat on the original estimate for several weeks as I was not excited about the projected outcome. Enter Shane, new owner, and his suggestions for my kitchen. That's when I got excited and decided to move forward with the project. Shane, Jake, and Bev handled everything very professionally. The quality of the work by the crew was excellent and they were all very pleasant while they were in and out of my house. When a few minor issues came up as they often do, they were handled in a timely manner. Great attention to detail! Project completed early spring 2019. I love my new kitchen and highly recommend Kitchen Tune-Up.
