going to update my rating to a 5 star from a one star due to owners quick and kind response. Sorry to hear that Bill is still causing them headaches there, and reaking havoc under a new but similar business name. But Bill still refers to his company as Italmoda. I will move the below review to his new name Italcasa. So you might want to give the new owners a chance if you haven't yet!! But the review below is for the onld owner apparently, now working under Italcasa.. I wish them luck in repairing the damage Bill caused under their name. As he is WELL KNOWN in the local interior design businesses for being a scammer 😞

Worked with them over the years and received their furniture at our old furniture receiving warehouse. Had issues with collecting payment with nearly every invoice, with Bill literally trying to take off in the parking lot without paying. No longer have the warehouse (wasn't worth the headaches like that and my husband makes great money on his installs) but Bill solicited my husband to do some work for him yesterday and today. He text my husband multiple times over the weekend, and my husband said he'd assist him with disassembling a large shelf or something similar, and promised to pay COD. Well when my husband went to collect yesterday, they refused to pay him the full amount, and basically only paid 50%. My husband went back today, agreeing to work for less, basically because he left his furniture blankets there and wanted them back. Things went south (they had no idea what they were doing.. and that is why they asked for my husband's assistance.. you pay for experience!) and when my husband went to collect his last furniture blanket, Bill stepped on it and refused to let him take it. Seriously petty and childish. Buy your own blankets! A furniture store should have them stocked up!! Since it wasn't worth the fight or headache, my husband just left it and left the site. It is unfortunate that the job was tricky, but if they wanted it done and correctly, they could have had it done. They just weren't willing to pay for the labor. Luckily my husband has plenty of clients to keep him busy (and blankets he doesn't have to steal from other people.. he is ALWAYS prepared), that don't refuse to pay his rate or for his expertise EVERY TIME. I wouldn't support this store, unless you like to support local businesses that screw over their contract laborers and other small businesses. I didn't even want my husband to go back today, but he likes to finish what he starts. Unfortunately for him, the whole project was a mess, and that is a reflection of the person running it. Much better alternatives to shop and support local small businesses, so I'd avoid this one. Just take a look at their other 1 star reviews (this is the norm for most clients I've talked to of theirs, as well as other contractors who refuse to work with them) and keep in mind you can get 100000 5 star reviews from just asking people to give you good reviews on Facebook 😉

Nida and her team helped me design my dental office and I couldn't be happier. They also helped me finalize my business logo when I was struggling with my web designer. Her taste is on point and I get daily compliments on my office. I'm a root canal specialist and I had a vision for my office that centered on calm and welcoming but also tasteful and unexpected beauty. Nida nailed it. I love my office so much and I'm so proud of how it turned out. I think all the negative reviews are from the previous owner because she did a great job for me.

A friend of ours hired an interior decorator for a new home they built across the bay from us. Two reading lamps were purchased along with other items from Ligne Roset, which were beautiful by the way. Unfortunately one of the lamps was knocked over and globe was broken. In our search to replace it, we found out that it was a unique item and limited number were made and couldn’t be replaced. I do love their merchandise because it’s not something you see everywhere. We called Ligne Roset and we were helped by Peter who searched their warehouse to find similar globes to match the remaining one of the pair. I can’t say enough about his dedication to customer needs. It turns out that one of the two globes he sent us matched and looks great! Not many people would go to the trouble to help on that level. It took communication back and forth to have them locate something compatible and have shipped so quickly. I can’t say enough about Peter’s dedication to Ligne Roset and it’s customers. I will definitely share my experience and highly recommend! Five stars for Peter!

I'm really disappointed with this business, especially after having high hopes about the new ownership. I ordered a bed frame by Blu Dot through them several weeks ago and now, despite multiple calls that I've placed, no one will bother to return my call or provide any information. It's been a true hassle. First, I went to the store during their "business hours" and a sign was on the door , "be back at 1:30 PM". I waited until 2:00 PM. No one arrived. I returned a few days later. and was told the bed would be in "next week" That came and went and I called and was told the bed would be in on "Monday" and they would call me "in a few minutes" to advise about delivery set up. That call never came. I then called them the following week and repeatedly got a recording despite the store being advertised as open. No one responded to the message that I had to leave. I called again this morning and finally someone answered the phone. I asked when my bed would be delivered and the response I got was, "I don't know, call back in a few hours and talk to the owner". I then inquired if the bed was even in at this point and again, "I don't know talk to the owner". Well, I've now called three times after waiting a few hours as suggested by the person who received my call and all I got was the recording again. I've left another message and doubt I'll get a call back. Meanwhile, I'm in at about $2,000 for this bed. I'm beyond fed up at this point and will likely be calling the manufacturer of the bed Blu Dot directly. This is no way to run a business. No customer service whatsoever. This is a boutique store. Not big box. The advantage is supposed to be excellent customer service. I'm not getting anything close.

We had to replace all the furniture in our home due to a fire and are working with several stores in the area. Bill and his staff at Italmoda went out of their way to be helpful to us. Sharon even came to our house to advise on lighting. Today we received delivery on our Dining Room Table, Chairs and Buffet along with another Nook Table and Chairs and a Leather Love Seat. The delivery was very professional, unlike what we experienced with another store in the area recently. Bill even called to ask how we liked our new furniture. He has loads of books to order from as well as a very attractive show room. For this quality contemporary furniture, of which many are imported, he worked with us on the pricing and gave us a good deal. Thanks Bill, Sharon and Aimee!
