Mark and his team designed and built a new bathroom for us. The appealing thing was that the service is almost more of a product, in the sense that you see an initial digital design, and you pretty much pay a defined amount and get more or less exactly what you expected. The uncertainty is removed.

We wanted a simple refresh to our bathroom with a modern, clean look, and got a design which was just that. We were out of the country during construction, but received regular videos and photos of the work. It was clear that the parts of our flat which were not being worked on had been sealed off well, and that the work was undertaken with care.

At the end of the work, there were a few little things here and there which weren't quite up to Mark's standards, so he made sure they were addressed. Similarly, we had a snag with a leak, which was dealt with very promptly by an out of hours team at no extra charge, followed up with a further inspection / fix. Again, zero worries.

In summary, InDesign offers a high quality service which is almost like a product in its predictability and peace of mind.

The 3D planning stage was really helpful in terms of making choices about the size/position of furniture etc and gave me a real sense of the finished look. Had a horrible experience. They could not do basic things like match all the hardware to the same color, insisted on bizarre points like moving our toilet and plumbing to the other side of the room at our expense because it would look slightly more aesthetic pleasing and no space for a loo roll holder. All in all I found them to be unfriendly and overpriced. They did end up refunding me for designs they did but these were equivalent to a child using photoshop for the first time and were definitely unused in our renovation process. Just put your bathroom into GPT and describe what you would like to change. It will produce better quality at a fraction of the cost.
