Kevin and his dad were great to work with (sorry, I don’t remember Dad’s name but he was also amazing and ‘Kevin and his dad’ seem to be what a lot of reviewers go by!). I wanted a round dining table that could expand to a very large oval for entertaining. After shopping around a lot I learned they don’t really make tables like that, which led me to look into custom options. Kevin was very responsive, had great ideas, and said the table would be no problem. We went back and forth on different options, with many helpful suggestions from Kevin, until we had everything right and it turned out perfectly. The color (Spanish Oak) is absolutely stunning, the finish coat is beautiful and a perfect match to the other wood in our home, and the quality and craftsmanship are flawless. They don’t charge enough money for what they do. We’re looking forward to finding another project in the future that we can use Idaho Custom Woodwork for.

So glad we found Idaho Custom Woodwork. Decide soon if you want to get your project on their work list. This 15 year old Pottery Barn table was painted white, but Kevin and Joe stripped the paint down to discover a beautiful hickory veneer. They were very careful not to sand it too low and look at the beautiful result. Kevin will communicate and send photos during the process and we also used their pick up and delivery service, very helpful. Recommend highly and will use again.
