I have been a loyal customer of Horizon Tile for over 15 years, but recent events have left me deeply disappointed and frustrated. What used to be a reliable and dependable store has undergone a drastic decline that is difficult to comprehend.

One of the most concerning aspects is the complete lack of employees. The store feels like a ghost town, with no one available to assist customers or answer their questions. It's disheartening to see such a decline in customer service, which was once a strong point of Horizon Tile.

Communication has become virtually non-existent. There are no updates on the store's status, and it's distressing to witness weeks of closure without any prior notice or explanation. As a long-term customer, I expected better transparency and communication from a company I have trusted for so many years.

The inconsistency in store hours and prolonged closures are highly frustrating. It's challenging to plan projects or make purchases when there's no certainty about the store's availability. This lack of reliability has significantly impacted my confidence in Horizon Tile as a go-to supplier.

My experience with this business has been nothing short of a nightmare. I placed an order more than 16 weeks ago, and despite numerous assurances, the wait continues, with the promise of an additional 14 weeks. This level of delay is inexcusable and has severely impacted both my business and my client's satisfaction.

The lack of transparency and communication throughout this process is beyond frustrating. Instead of being upfront about the delays, it feels like they are deliberately avoiding taking responsibility. It is unacceptable to leave customers in the dark and further adds to the sense of betrayal and disappointment.

To make matters worse, it's evident that the business is mismanaging its resources, leading to the "robbing Peter to pay Paul" situation. This practice is unethical and shows a lack of integrity in their operations. As a customer, I expect a business to be financially responsible and to fulfill their commitments in a timely manner.

Considering we are not in a Covid era, there is no excuse for such extensive delays. Other businesses are managing to fulfill orders promptly, and this experience has left me questioning the reliability and competence of this particular company.

We imported some Italian tile for a project in 2021 and Catherine and Heather were easy to work with and the product was shipped without unreasonable delays given COVID shipping issues. Recently we reached back out for another order and have been dealing with Olivia Boone and it has been a nightmare. First she had not heard of the collection because it was too new, then she said no one was selling it in the states yet but that she had similar products in stock so we stopped by at her request to view other options and there was nothing comparable and the employee working may as well have been a home depot employee with as little help/knowledge she had. We left and then heard back from Olivia that she had a sample of the product that we originally inquired about now and we could view it. Since April we have requested pricing for a very specific quote and she has dodged pricing. We ended up sourcing from Italy and shipping ourselves. I guess this place is about to go under because it shouldn't take 4 mns of hounding to never even get a price.

Both as a builder - Treehouse Residential- of upscale homes ($1.5-$2m) and for my own house, Horizon is the first stop for tile, indoors and out. We always go to Catherine. She's taken the time to understand our houses, our style and preferences, so she makes it very easy to work with her. Super knowledgeable and friendly, always keeps the budget in mind, and if shipping timelines are a factor. She has often come up with "out of the box" suggestions that have been terrific.

My experience with Horizon Tile has overall been fabulous. The store owner has a wonderful eye for choosing a gorgeous selection of casual and higher end options. I was helped by a friendly/helpful staff every visit. It's my new fave. I cannot wait to see my selections come to life.

Horizon tile has many options, and is one of our favorite tile companies. They go above and beyond at getting us what we need when we need it. They are prompt, professional, and efficient. Our rep, Heather, is kind and very nice to work with!

Nice showroom, but, I felt like I was inconveniencing them as a customer...and I was one of the only ones. They could be more helpful. Maybe it was the tile I chose, but, they were very stingy with a sample; showed me a large format tile, but (after practically begging) would only give me a very small square piece to take for reference. The colors looked very different small vs large tile, so, I don’t know how helpful it will be for picking other stone and fixtures in the bathroom. I don’t know that I’ll be back—many other options.
