I'm not a crafter, so when a Bible study group I was in decided to come here as a fun outing, I figured I would tag along and make something small just so I could hang out with the ladies.

I've now been back three times.

I love how fun Kate makes these projects, even for people like me who are not into crafting. Everything is set up and ready to go, so all you're doing is the fun part. And the best part is that even though I'm not good at this sort of thing, my projects always come out looking great.

If you're looking for something fun to do, I can't recommend this place enough 🙂

For a mother's day gift I purchased a class at Hammer and Stain for my mom and I to enjoy. We had never been before and did not know what to expect. We ended up having the best time! The owners were so friendly and a provide amazing guidance from start to finish! We got to create these beautiful farm house trays from start to finish! We are already planning out next project!

I brought my 7 year old daughter here for a class. My daughter loves to try new art classes and mediums, so we had a mother-daughter day.
We we taught by Kate, who was amazing! She was very kind, patient, and helpful. My daughter and I each made our own pieces, working side by side.

I was so very impressed how our projects turned out. Often, my daughter gets frustrated, noting that my projects turn out 'better' than her own. I try to explain how age, attention to detail, and the like affect our projects, but she still pouts. Well, this project was so well planned and easy to execute that my daughter's turned our looking fabulous! Later, family members had difficulty determining whom had made which.

My daughter and I had such a great time that we are scheduled for another class already!

I highly recommend this business, experience and the owner Kate!

Been there now twice with a group of 5 or more on days they say they are open, and never have been. When they say they are open, they are not. Their hours don’t align. Bad business and frustrating for those who want to support local business.
