We went here on a whim and found the amazing, Kim! She is a great associate. Listens, patient and very knowledgeable. This isn’t a her first rodeo and that confidence is what I need in a designer. Please don’t waste any more of your time and go see, Kim. The prices are unbeatable too!

We purchased a slab of granite for a master bedroom sink counter and a vanity counter from Granite Depot. We also purchased a cabinet through Granite Depot. We had to pay for the entire bill upfront. We would’ve preferred to pay half upfront, and then the remainder after the job was completed, but that’s their policy, which is not favorable to the customer. The sales person, Kim, had us looking at granite slabs when I had initially asked to look at quartz slabs. Anyway, she convinced us that granite was the better product. I liked the appearance of the granite, but still not sure if that was the best choice.
Granite Depot advertises one stop shopping. This is not true. They sell the granite countertop, but everything else is sourced out. So you are dealing with other service providers, which we found to be quite challenging. Some of the workers did not speak English, and that presented another challenge for us.
We had several problems and delays with the installation. First, we were referred to a person by the name of Angel, to demolish the old sink and cabinet and then install the new one. We had trouble getting an appointment set up. He didn’t return our calls. We had to call Kim, the sales person, to arrange an appointment, however, she defended Angel for not getting back to us. Angel and his crew did a good job, taking the old cabinet, sink, and countertops out, however, they didn’t pick up the old and left it on the side of our house. They said they would pick up this trash in a few days. My husband told them he wouldn’t pay them unless they picked up the trash. Kim scolded my husband and said he shouldn’t have talked to the carpenter that way. In our defense, we felt it wasn’t right for them not to bring a truck for the trash. After a few days, they finally picked up the trash. One of the new cabinet doors had hinges put on the wrong way so we needed a new door. After a few weeks, we got a new door. Also, Angel’s carpenter’s helper, threw away some needed wood trimming. My husband retrieved it from the trash, and then a different carpenter came and finished up the trimming for the cabinet and replaced the cabinet door.
The cabinet was built too high. We gave them the measurements, but they didn’t adhere to that. Kim said they make the cabinets higher now, and that’s standard. We are not happy with the height. I’m not that tall and will need a low stepstool to comfortably reach the sink, which is crazy.
Next, the granite countertop arrived, and after it was installed, we noticed that it had scratches on it. We called Stonecrafters to buff out the scratches. We were given the runaround. They referred us to three different people, and they all had excuses saying that the scratches were part of the design. We decided to call Kim. I told her that when we purchased the countertop, I noticed some scratches and she said they would not sell us that part of the granite. She then denied ever making such a promise. I was really angry with her denial. She then gave us the name of someone who would arrange to repair the scratches. They came to buff out the scratches to the best of their ability, but not completely.
After all the problems and delays that we encountered, we would not recommend buying from Granite Depot.

This place deserves zero stars. I do not trust that the 5 star reviews are from real customers. There is a reason why there are so many poor reviews. I paid $9000 for quartzite slabs and they completely botched the fabrication and installation. On the scheduled installation day, the representative told me that they were having trouble with the fabrication because they have little experience with quartzite. They sure did have problems that then became my problems. They lied about breaking and gluing parts of the slabs. They lied about their experience with custom fabrication of quartzite slabs. They made errors in measuring and/or fabrication then claimed that it is appropriate for countertops to be so short that they don't cover all of the cabinets! They also created gaps in several areas that they simply filled with glue. They claimed that it is correct for the cabinet overhangs to vary as much as an inch from one place to another. There was a special cutout for an outlet that we discussed in detail with the specifications included in the contract. They totally messed that up as well--even with 2 tries. Representatives failed to show up for on-site visits twice then arrived an hour late for the third. When they did come they denied certain problems (that the slabs were broken and glued and that they were too short) and for the rest they just said that the lousy job was the best they could do. Do not let these people anywhere near your money or your home. They don't know what they're doing and don't care.

My wife and I underwent a massive renovation of our entry floor and kitchen and decided to go with stone countertops, as we wanted something that would last. We ended up working with Kim C. at Granite Depot who very patiently walked with us through every piece of stone they had in their warehouse (I'm very particular) and we found the perfect slabs.

We love that we were able utilize their templating service to ensure the parts of the slabs we wanted were located where we wanted them in our kitchen. We ended up with about 90 sqft of countertop, including a 4' × 7' island and it captures all the details of the stone that we wanted. The whole process was very low pressure and our slabs ended up being discounted which was cool. With that being said the service/labor charges were more than the price of the slabs which was not necessarily expected, but we were ok with it. We ended up spending $8400 for beautiful quartzite and then it was sent to the fabricators.

We were told to expect a 2-3 week wait from the time the fabricators received the slabs to installation. We received a call from Desert Eagle (the fabricator/installer) a week later and they were able to schedule our installation for exactly 2 weeks from our templating. Desert Eagle was a pleasure to work with. Their customer service was great and the installers were efficient and accurate. We had no issues with the installation. There were a few minor scratches (I'd assume from transportation at some point in the process) and Desert Eagle came out without question to repair them. We love our new quartzite counters.

Kim also helped us get our cabinets ordered through Highland Cabinetry. We came into the store without having made up our mind on our cabinets. She took a look at our ideas and helped us finalize what we wanted and got us an estimate from Highland. Their quote was right in between the 3 others we had already received, plus they are local which was really our deciding factor. We liked that if there was any issue we could drive straight to the warehouse to pick up anything. We are very happy with the product so far.

We have had our cabinets and counters for a few months now and everything still looks and works great.

This is the third and last time we will ever use these people. We built a new house and had them come out to install our granite counter tops. We weren’t at the house at the time of install. When we came up a few days later we noticed black lines running thru the island. And the lines where they pieced the two together was very messy. Totally shotty work. They came out and buffed out the black marks and left a dull shadow in each spot. This is all I see now. Granite depot blamed the installers and the installers blame granite depot. DONT BUY FROM THEM. they never came to fix the island and didn’t offer to refund part of my money.

READ if you want to know about pricing and financing: Showroom staff were friendly and very helpful. The fabrication and install went well and the counters look great. The reason for the two stars is the non-transparent pricing and deceptive financing practices of Granite Depot. I asked for a breakdown of pricing via an invoice and it provided little information on how they calculate pricing. For example, my “free” variety was somehow more per square foot than my kitchen countertops. Their reasoning when asked didn’t make sense and we ended up paying $500 more than the initial estimate. Next, they advertise 0% interest for 4 years. In reality, they make you put 25% down via cash, check or another credit card. This is not written anywhere, not on the website or any forms, and we were told is an internal policy. You can’t use the WellsFargo Home Projects card that you apply and get approved for through their financing. This is different than American Furniture, who uses the same card, and allows you to finance the entire amount. Next, even with amazing credit (above 800) and a good income, the term for financing was only one year, NOT 3 or 4. Afterwards, interest is 20+ percent.

We had a great experience with Granite Depot and the installation of our kitchen countertops. Dale was amazing to work with. Very patient and absolutely took the time to make sure we got what we wanted. He was not pushy at all, and even entertained our 4 year old while we were discussing options. The whole process took 4 hours and it didn't even seem to phase him. He just wanted to make sure we were happy and comfortable with what we were buying. The minute we realized that we were buying one of the most expensive slabs in the showroom, we hesitated, and instead of pushing the sale he asked us if we wanted to explore cheaper options or leave to take some time to think about it. No sales person ever does that, and it really went a long way with me. We opted to do the layout because there was a specific chunk of quartz we wanted in our island. I was downtown that day and ended up arriving over an hour early for my appointment. Fully prepared to wait, they went out of their way to get me in the layout office and on my way home. Finally, the install team was top notch. I've been in construction my whole life, and a contractor for many years, so trust me when I say these guys were good. When they set the island, the lead noticed one of my support brackets was a little low. He pointed it out to me, and they picked the slab back up off the cabinet and patiently held it in place while I reworked the bracket. When they were finished, everything was clean and beautiful. Granite Depot will forever be my go-to for countertops.
