Full disclosure, my interactions Business Interiors of Idaho was not based on their professional services but the way they helped me when my car battery died next to their building.

I walked in to ask if I could park in their lot until my business lunch was over. Erica, an employee, smiled warmly and immediately handed me a parking pass and offered her battery powered jumper cables. After my lunch I returned and found the unit waiting for me, as promised. Another employee came out to assist as well.

If this is how they treat people who are not paying them for anything, I can imagine the level of service their customers receive.

Business Interiors of Idaho went the extra mile to help us get great chairs for our home office. I cannot recommend them enough.

We were able to walk in and try out chairs at their large downtown showroom on South Capitol, then order them. When the chairs arrived and proved to be problematic, probably due to changes in manufacturing, Mike and Solvae went to extra mile to make us satisfied customers. They allowed us to swap to another model they had in their warehouse which had the features we needed. They put out this effort for a small-time individual customer whose total order must be little more than a rounding error, given the scale of their business (they provide office furniture for big customers like Albertsons). They want to make every customer into a happy customer. I recommend them highly for all your office furniture needs, regardless of location.

A sales associate (Solvay?) came to our site to discuss and measure our space to give me a quote. I went through two offices with her and while we were in the second office my other appointment arrived. I excused myself to talk to him and left her to measure the space. When I returned ~10 minutes later she seemed agitated. I explained that I would be right back to finish up with her but when I returned ~5 mins later she had left the premises without an explanation.

When I spoke with someone at their main office the next day I was informed that our space was not the type of space they typically work with and they would not be proceeding with a bid for us. I'm unsure what your space "is not the type of space they typically work with" means but regardless her behavior was unprofessional. At the very least she could have provided an explanation of why she was leaving so abruptly. She seemed upset that I had brought another company to give me another quote (they unfortunately overlapped in time since she was early and my other one was late).

I recently had the opportunity to work with Phil Ruebel at BII to obtain a quote for office furniture and accessories. He invited me to the showroom to view options and answer any questions. He was polite, professional and knowledgeable. The follow up was consistent and, at times, immediate when I needed a fast answer. Phil is a great reflection of what this company represents.
