Ordered FP insert and chimney liner at the and installation services in September at the Brewer, Maine store. Paid in full.

Chimney liner installation done, FP insert too large for opening ( company mistake).
Evergreeen did not get back to us on an appropriate replacement. My husband has done all the research to find the right sized insert (and made 5 trips back to the Brewer store and one to the Trenton location).

Evergreen will not refund the stove installation cost.

This company seems indifferent to our problem which they created. Now on day 8 with an open fireplace which we covered in plastic.

Do not do business here.

There is exceptional expertise in the area at another vendor.

My husband and I purchased a hot tub from these people and haven't had nothing but trouble with trying to get service. We had to basically set the thing up on our own because when the guy showed up he had a cold, couldn't do anything and now they just avoid us and the hot tub is still not working and when you call magically you're not on the list and they have no idea that you're having trouble. I would not recommend buying a hot tub from this place. They're nice to you until after the sale.
I called last month October 11 the The young lady who answers the phone assured me that we were in the queue and then when I called today I was told gee you're not even in the queue. So what am I supposed to think? We've been waiting almost a month for service and we had no idea that it wasn't even coming until I called today

After visiting the store and finding 2 fireplaces that we really liked, we asked Kendra J if she could email us the quotes for each one. She said she could email it over in an hour.. A day later we haven't heard back from her so we decided to call and make sure she did in fact have the correct email address.. No response again.. For the next 2 days we tried calling several times as we still haven't received the quotes.. No response again.. on day 4 we finally got the quote. I expressed my concerns with Kendra J about the lack of communication and feeling that if we do purchase from them and have a question or warranty issue, we are hesitant due to her lack of communication.. Her exact response to me was, Perhaps you would be happier using a different company ".. Great business ethics Kendra J, we will be happy to take our money elsewhere.. It's funny how you can contact me immediately after my review was posted to ask me to remove her name, but she can't contact me back as a customer..

Very knowledgable about their Arctic Spa Hot Tubs. Matt and his crew have been very helpful through the process and assisting to ensure proper setup. We highly recommend this company. Great business and we love our new tub!

Terrible terrible customer service. So rude and arrogant. Get it online because they won't help you. And check back with those "females" that claimed they helped me because they didn't. One even just stood and stared at me without responding to any questions. It was actually creepy. Not once did they offer any help.Not once. They are liars. I reacted in kind. Like I said, go elsewhere or find employees who treat others in a professional manner. In this day ama age we don't have to put up with this kind of service. I hope you go out of business.

I read alot of these reviews...good and bad. Im the contractor in this situation, not a customer but working for the customer. I'm sure some customer's lucked out with this company and had a good experience. The bad reviews reflected to the "t" my sentiments. Poor customer relations, no communication, customer is always wrong, they never do anything wrong, arrogance and attitude from some of the employees when dealing with an issue, very late for appointments...never call to tell you that they are running late...you have to call them to find out whats going on...then they show up over an hour late and act like nothing is wrong. Bottom line to me is no communication from them and their attitude. I'm sure if they respond to this review it will be on me...Ill be in the wrong and not them.

Absolute worst service they sold me a Vermont casting encore that has problems, including the damper arm just breaking and they tell me to call Vermont castings who points me back to them.

Update: I am asking for a refund for and removal of stove after speaking to Vermont castings customer care agent . If this happens I will change my rating to 5 stars.

I cannot say enough about this business. Their customer service is exceptional. They answer all your questions, they have great selections and they go out of there way to help you after your purchase. My stove is beautiful and exactly how I wanted it to look in my home. If you need to heat your home with a gorgeous wood, gas, pellet or propane stove, go to Evergreen Home & Hearth!!
