Avoid This Business at All Costs

My experience with Brian at Dom interiors was nothing short of frustrating and unprofessional. From the very first interaction, he was incredibly rude and demanding, setting the tone for a rocky business relationship. He repeatedly spoke ill about his own employees, which was concerning and reflected poorly on how the business is run.
The delivery of my cabinets was intentionally delayed due to their internal issues, and when work finally started, they abruptly stopped in the middle of the job, leaving my place uninhabitable. At this point, Brian is forcing costs onto me, holding the project hostage. It’s clear that this is a tactic to pressure me into accepting his terms.
Overall, dealing with this business has been a nightmare.

I commissioned a Valcucine kitchen in January 2020 through their representative Dom Interiors in New York. The expected delays on the back of COVID are understandable. The kitchen was installed in August 2020 and two drawers arrived broken. Dom Interiors was unresponsive—and more concerned about their financial survival than any desire to deal with customer service. My architect studio found the people behind Dom Interiors incredibly unprofessional.

I reached out to Dom Interiors and then to the customer service in the headquarters office of Valcucine in Italy a number of times. Whenever I got a person on the phone, the conversation always concluded with “we will get back to you”. I kept sending them emails with the video and the reference of the kitchen, to which I never got a response.

The owner of Dom Interiors, Brian, hasn’t delivered the broken drawers—2 1/2 years later.
