I’ve always wondered how stores that do one thing survive in the era of big box stores. I got curious and stopped recently when one of my fans finally seized up, and I’m glad I did. I bought 3 different ceiling fans over the course of a week. Love them all. Two used direct current motors and are amazingly light. The app on those was a nice bonus to control the speed, light brightness and color from a widget on our phones. I did make a mistake on installing one that was totally on me and the knowledgeable and friendly folks at Dan’s took good care of me and got it all squared away, which I didn’t expect. I am officially a Dan’s “fan”.

Found the fan I needed to replace the one in my house. The person working there was helpful courteous and professional. Much better than going to a hardware store. I would recommend them for looking for a great ceiling fan.

Teresa in the Altamonte Springs store was awesome. She helped me pick out two fans that ended up being perfect for my project. She took the time to explain the differences in features and options and she helped me select the correct fans for what I needed.

She also made the experience less stressful. Dans has so many different and varied fans but Teresa listened to what I was thinking about and steered me towards what was ultimately the perfect choice.

She also assisted when came back in because I couldn’t figure out how to attach the light to the fan. In 2 minutes she showed me how to hook it up and gave a few other pointers on installation.

It was an overall great experience. I’d send anyone looking for a fan in her direction.

Fan shopping can be frustrating. It’s usually the big box stores with limited selection and limited service. Dan’s is the opposite. They have a wide selection, and have knowledgeable staff who are ready to give advice and guide you to just the product you need.

We had the true pleasure of working with Teresa Marcopolus, manager of Dan’s Fan City in Altamonte Springs, FL. We bought 8 fans at this location 30 years ago for our home. And ALL these fans have been performing flawlessly since installation. YES, for 30 years. We are now building a new home requiring 10 fans. So, we looked no further than Dan’s Fans for our fan selection. That’s where we met Teresa. She’s a sweet and kind person who knows a LOT about fans. A lot has changed in 30 years. And the selection is a lot larger. Teresa listened carefully to understand the style, size and functionality we would need from each Fan. She then showed us the options that she felt best fit our requirements and why. She further discussed pros and cons of each when there were two or more potential options.
