We have worked with Creative interiors in 2022 to renovate a classic brick row house in downtown Jersey City. Louis and Tony have succeeded to bring that 1870’s house to a 21st century lifestyle while fully preserving the house’s historical characters. They were very attentive to our needs and quickly understood the style we were looking for. They also factored in the practical requirements of a family with young children without compromising on style or function. Their meetings were always well prepared, and we agreed very easily with most of their choices of materials, colors, and accessories. they handled all the contractors for installation despite all the supply chain disruptions from the pandemic. The result of their work is a source of daily joy as we now live in the house. We re-hired them in 2023 to completely remodel the living room, which was pretty basic and which they turned into our favorite room in the house, complete with a smokeless real fireplace, shelves, furniture, fabrics and decoration pieces. We definitely recommend you to work with them. They do really care about their clients, and that is a rare quality these days.

We engaged Creative Interiors to update our Hoboken condo that was in need of a refresh after moving from our suburban home to condo #1 and then condo #2. We’re very pleased with the outcome! They designed and installed a custom wall unit that incorporates a wine fridge, storage and lighting. The design and craftsmanship are outstanding. They introduced new pieces and colors that we would have NEVER considered, and the finished product is fantastic. Our space is light, bright and updated.

We have been shopping at Creative Interiors since we moved to Hoboken in 2014. We were initially drawn in by the store’s collection of unique and beautiful decorative pieces. So, when we purchased a condo at the beach, we knew that we wanted to work with Louis and Tony on a design plan. We had never worked with designers before, so we really didn’t know what to expect. From the initial meeting through the project’s completion, they were consummate professionals and truly listened to what we wanted for our home. They made what could have been a daunting process fun and collaborative. They also made the process less stressful by arranging all deliveries and installations with the building and by always being on site to oversee the work being done. The end result is not only beautiful, it suits us perfectly. Everything we ordered, from built in cabinetry, window treatments, rugs, lighting and furnishings, is of the highest quality and was custom made for us. The subcontractors they work with are first rate and artists at their craft. I truly can’t say enough about how they transformed our completely empty condo into a warm, welcoming and comfortable sanctuary. Louis and Tony really came through for us under very unusual and demanding circumstances -- while also incorporating high-quality safety measures to insure that our home and their contractors stayed safe during this time of pandemic. The task was challenging: To accommodate my husband's sudden joint injury, I had to furnish a new two-bedroom condo from scratch in record time - and hubby had to test the comfort of chairs, sofas, and beds before I bought them. So I decided to deal with a furnishings showroom. (I settled on Room & Board.) I scouted the options on my own and settled on the basic pieces that suited our comfort needs. Then, a bit overwhelmed, I went to Creative Interiors & Designs with an outside-the-box request: Could they tweak my choices, help me pick fabrics and finishes from R&B's options, oversee the on-site furniture delivery, and arrange the pieces? Oh, and also take care of the more traditional decorating chores: painting choices, lighting fixtures, etc? Many design firms would not have considered this arrangement for a nanosecond. But Louis and Tony were eager to help in my crisis. They guided me to choices that were just right but that I'd have been too timid to make. The result is a comfortable, stylish mid-century modern apartment with a touch of "wow" that we just love! We were absolutely delighted with their work!

From determining my needs and style preference to remaining flexible in design changes - they always presented fabulous design options. I have worked with Creative Interior & Designs for over 20 years so this review is long overdue. Tony and Lewis always listen to my visions and then bring them to life from simple updates to complete renovations. Their talent and knowledge of interiors coupled with their technical skills allows them to create timeless spaces with layers of texture and artistic inspiration all while making sure their designs are livable and comfortable for my family. In addition, I am able to browse in there shop (which is filled with unique finds from around the world that you will not find anywhere else) and make purchases on the spot that continue to evolve my home whether for seasonal change or just something to revive and refresh. I enjoy browsing in Creative Interiors’ store for gifts and small decorative items for myself. Recently I had a great experience with purchasing an oversized abstract for a wall that needed “something”. Louis was a great sounding board throughout my decision making process, and once I decided to purchase he was helpful in arranging delivery since it was an oversized piece that wouldn’t fit in a car. My room looks awesome with the piece of art.

We wanted to make our apartment more beautiful and comfortable at the same time. Did we get lucky. Just before Covid stopped all renovation Tony and Louis delivered big time! They had come a couple of months before to measure the rooms and presented us with several options within our budget while at the same time appreciating our life style and what was important to us. They created an environment for us that was beautiful and functional. We cannot thank them and their team more especially when we are spending more time at home. An investment well worth it!
