Doing a small renovation at my house, I added a wine bar across from the kitchen. For this, I needed cabinets and ended up finding Clayton online. His reviews were good and after speaking to him and corresponding via email, I was very confident he would do a great job. I was correct! He handled the process from start to finish extremely conscientiously and thoroughly. His communication was great, along with his recommendations and professional guidance. He used a design drawing that I had from an interior designer and matched cabinets accordingly. He was thoughtful about using non-custom sizes and making slight modifications based on what was available and what was most efficient. While I did not use Clay to install the cabinets, he was extremely thorough in preparing the cabinets for installation by a third-party (really good drawing and preparations). That included notes on different pieces and parts to make sure we didn’t get confused with any specific details. And, he pre-assembled a couple of components that he anticipated would be trickier. This was my first time going through a cabinet installation and it is much more complicated than I expected so his prep, notes and specifications were extremely valuable. He didn’t need to do that, but he obviously takes great pride in his work and wants his customers to have a great outcome. In the pictures, you can see the various stages of the cabinets and the final product, which is great. I highly recommend him and would certainly use his services in the future. He’s one of the good ones!

Clayton designed, sourced, and installed our cabinets for our kitchen remodel. 3 words to describe Clayton… integrity, meticulous precision, and artist - well, that’s 4. We wanted a “kitchen that’s not like anyone else”. I requested black, flat front European style cabinets and doors - ultra modern, minimalist, and sleek. I was concerned about finger prints showing on the black materials - he nailed it. Clayton drew up a preliminary design, we chose him and then did just a little changes and then moved forward.

First, let’s talk about Claytons artistry and design. He’s so very detail oriented and thought of things that I hadn’t. He made suggestions that I never would have considered on my own, but added just the perfect touch such as simple walnut corner shelves, specific light to hang over the bar, and a perfectly crafted inset in my wall unit.

Now we must discuss Clayton’s craftsmanship & character. Clayton returned every phone call and text, showed up every time he said he would, he was completely transparent about shipping delays on products. He drove to SLC on his own dime to pick up the cabinets that shipping had messed up. He was meticulous during install to make sure every corner and line was flush, and every cabinet hung perfectly. Oh and the craftsmanship, he personally made 2 walnut floating shelves and an absolutely gorgeous walnut box that is a lighted insert on my wall of cabinets pantry. The mitered corners are flawless. Every one who see my cabinets and the craftsmanship is blown away. My dad (you know dads) raves about the level of craftsmanship in my kitchen.

If you are lucky enough to hire Clayton, you will absolutely not regret it. If he has a waitlist, wait for him! I was lucky enough to bet on him being his 4th client since moving to the area. That’s a bet I’d double down on again.

I often jokingly say that if I ever move, I’m taking my kitchen with me. But I am serious, I will probably bring in Clayton and have him move my kitchen to my new house.
