My wife and I loved our experience with Jean at Cameo Special Events. The customer service, recommendations, and response time were all outstanding! We truly felt like we were in the hands of a professional.

Our wedding reception was amazing, to put it simply. All of the guests complemented us on the beautiful decorations, ice sculptures, delicious food, upbeat music, fun dance floor, and video room sharing our love story. And we have Jean and her team to thank for all of the wonderful compliments.

Do yourself a favor and meet with Jean and her team. I'm confident they will make your reception as memorable as ours. You can thank me later.

Do not ever rent from this lady. You are better off going to a thrift store for much less.

First off the biggest thing that bothered me was she promised me the pocket squares would match. She gave us one of the correct color and the rest were red not burgundy. This shows in my wedding pictures obviously.

Second: the ties were all different patterns and some had square bottoms. She also promised me these would match as well.

Third: I had to pay more for vests to order a bigger size which is fine. But I also paid for a burgundy table cloth (I paid that day for that.) I showed her my bank statement today that It was already paid for. But when my dad went to pick up the stuff he paid for another tablecloth (I had paid for it already so we got double charged.) She gave us two burgundy tablecloths. One had this stain that looked like cum and the other had so many greasy stains on it it looked awful.

Fourth: 3 of the 5 vests didn't even fit. Hell one didn't even have the string to adjust it even though she said everything she has goes up a size and down a size.They were all a few sizes too big which I don't understand how this happened because she measured each of the guys and asked them their shirt sizes. I figured that it would fit because of that alone. Measurements don't lie

When we confronted her about these issues she told me I should have told her the morning of the wedding and she would have brought the correct stuff to me. So when my guys show up at 12 and get dressed and my ceremony is at 2 you are going to drive from Rupert to Jerome to bring us the right stuff? That's a joke. If you pull the items right the first time and double check that everything matches you don't have to worry about running to Jerome to deliver the correct items rented.

She told me three different stories about the tuxes. She first said she pulled them off the guys and into the dress bags (I never seen any dress bags?). Then she said she had them in piles in the room we were all standing in and next she said her "employees" that I've never seen or heard of pulled everything correct. Let me tell you if you don't lie you don't have to keep track of all the stories.

She was going to give us our money back on ONLY the pocket squares because that was her fault. She wasn't going to do anything about anything else. Not even the double charge of the disgusting table cloths or anything. So she writes out a gift certificate to COME BACK TO HER! She said she does not do refunds after telling me she would. Like lady do you not understand that I am not getting married again?! She claims she has done this for 28 years and has never made a mistake. I don't care. All I wanted was a small reimbursement of what happened. It's called customer service.

Jean at Cameo Special Events is AMAZING!!! She is very professional and thoughtful. She has a HUGE desire to make your special day extra special. She takes the time needed to make sure all the details of your wedding have been thought of.
She has a huge selection of decorations, if you have seen it done or seen it on Pinterest, she has it.. Her prices are reasonable, she is great to work with, flexible, and always wanting to help in any way possible.
I would recommend Cameo Special Events for wedding planning and decorating!! You won't be disappointed, so look no further!!

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for an awesome company and owner to be involved in your big day! She helped relieve so much stress of decorating and planning! She has lots to choose from!! We even bought a suit from her and got an awesome deal!!! Both times I've worked with her it was super last minute on my part and she was amazing about doing everything she could to make sure I had everything I needed on time! Much recommended!

I rented from Cameo for my wedding. The owner was 20 minutes late to my initial appointment. Was very slow to respond to texts and messages. All of that I might have been able to overlook if the items I rented were worth it. The dance floor was DISGUSTING, it had mud, dirt, grass, sticky spots, it had to be steam cleaned twice to be usable. The arch was covered in dust and dirt and the bottom support brace was bent so far up I was worried about my minister tripping. Then the linens oh my, they were not just stained they were dirty, as in had not been washed. They had food and dog hair all over them, the few that had been washed had not been stored in a way to prevent wrinkles. The only reason she has been in business this long is because in a small town she is the only option. Do your self a favor and make the trip to Twin for better options.

I would rate them 0 stars if I could. Jean was so great in the beginning but by the time our event was over she was very difficult. We used Cameo for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary party. We reserved and put down a $50 deposit in April. Our event was on August 3rd. My sister called to let Jean know that we may go a different route with the tables and chairs the week before our event. She had stated that all of our tables, chairs and linens were already on the trailer ready to go. Because of that, we didn’t end up cancelling the tables. She then informed us that she didn’t have the 8-5’ round tables as previously reserved and promised and would instead receive 4-5’ round tables and 4-4’ round tables. When her son delivered them, the 4’ tables were in pretty bad shape and had chunks of wood missing on the edges of the tables. One of the tables we couldn’t use at all because it was so bad. Some of the chairs were in pretty bad shape as well. My cousin’s daughter (who is only 14) sat down and the chair broke and she fell to the ground. I can’t imagine if one our elderly guests would have sat in that chair. Her son had asked us what time to come and pick everything up and we told him 7:30 that same (Saturday) evening (our event was over at 7:00 pm). They didn’t show up until around 3:00 Monday afternoon. My sister talked to Jean about trying to make it right and she kept saying “so you want a party for free?!” My sister never once indicated that we wanted it for free and that we just wanted it to be fair. She kept saying that they had 12 events that same weekend. First of all, that is what they do and that is not our problem. She stated to my sister that she would reduce the bill by $105. When they came to pick up the tables and chairs they only reduced our bill by $30 and on the receipt Jean stated “they wanted the party for free.” Which was not true and never stated by anyone in my family. We will never do business with them again. Whatever happened to customer service and that the customer is always right. It apparently doesn’t apply with Cameo.

Cameo Special Events to the rescue! Rain was in the forecast, so we gave the new owner, Cami Heward, a call. They had us two huge tents set up in no time and were excellent to work with. Those tents became such a blessing when the downpour hit us right before the reception. Awesome family business, that is locally owned. Will definitely be calling them again! Strongly Recommend!
