I don't like going to this store because the cashiers are so indifferent or downright rude. I greeted the cashier today and asked how she was and she gave me a sour look, she didn't answer me. When I paid, I accidentally selected debit and forgot my pin #. I just got a new card. She was angry with me and I apologized but she ignored that. So, I finished up and thanked her, she said nothing. The store has been this way for years. Can we get cashiers that are friendly? I probably just shouldn't shop there anymore. The meat guy was nice and all the store floor stockers were nice too. So there is that.

I will generally shop here anytime I can! It's so nice to go to a small store that has everything I need and the staff is always wonderful!

True, Big D's is conveniently situated right here in Florence, but I have to say, that you're price gauging. Large plastic bottle of Food Club creamer is nearly <<<$10.00>>>, Best Foods real mayo, nearly $10.00, 1 pound of butter, nearly $6.00, 18 egg carton, nearly $6.00. Bear Creak soup mix, nearly $6.00. I understand it's a small, not a conglomerate and they don't have price breaks because they're small, but I think they could do better. Their business gets a lot of patronage because of their location. That should put them in a better position to allow price reductions. But hey!! At least you don't have to BUY grocery bags, right!?

I'm federal law enforcement that works in town (always in uniform when i go in) and everytime I go this grocery store I'm either followed by staff that don't try to hide it or I'm ignored at the checkout for at least a few minutes everytime. When they do finally let me pay for my items I'm greeted with silence and (ignored my questions on multiple occasions) and my stuff is just thrown about after it's scanned or they put where I have to try and reach for it by their waist. I don't know what it is or what I did but it's been an ongoing thing for the past 8 years. Im not claiming racism (im non white) or anti law enforcement but the grocery store is convenient and has everything we need when working double shifts. I just hope the culture there is addressed or changes soon.

Great local grocery store. A tad higher priced but I don't mind paying a bit more for the convenience of having a full blown grocery store a few miles from my house when I'm out in the county and I don't have to drive all the way to Canon City or Pueblo and fight the mobs
