Joe and Kim, we cannot thank you enough for transforming our blah kitchen into our new play area of the house. So long formica! We love it. Rudy, Rueben and Lupe were great to work with and went the extra mile to make sure things look great each day as they wrapped up. Start to finish for us was a long road, but the 4.5 day install was like Christmas morning.. So Happy with the results. Let' see where we go next.

Quick update…had Joe and Kim paint the kitchen and bathroom cabinets. Also installed soft close hinges and glides. OMG so nice!

We had a fantastic experience with Bexar Essentials! Our master bathroom needed a make over and they delivered! We interviewed 4 contractors but Bexar Essentials stood out! From pricing to customer service and workmanship I can’t complain! Joe and Kim were excellent to work with. They were responsive at all times and best of all they made sure that we are happy and got what we wanted. Little adjustments were made but they were very accommodating. The guys (Ruben, Lupe and the rest of the crew) were professional. They were hardworking and courteous. Every time they leave for the day they made sure that the area is clean. My husband and I appreciated that! I was worried about the dust as I have allergies but that was not an issue. Overall, we’re very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend this company. Definite 5 stars!

We've got a 1950s home in the Ingram Hills area of Northwest San Antonio. I've met a lot of contractors through the years, but not a lot of human beings. My first experience with them was having them fix a cosmetic issue for my Mom across the street. They refused to charge her for a couple hours work. When we needed help here, Bexar was the first team we called... and we will keep calling them. It's so refreshing to get treated like a person by a person, instead of talked down to. We highly recommend them to all our friends and neighbors. Call for the service. Stay for the results.

I would recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel.we got the cabinets painted, tile work, ceiling work.They remodeled our kitchen. They were on time, priced right, everyone that came to my house was a hard working professional. I love my kitchen now!

Joe and his crew are all very polite and easy to work with, but not the most clear or upfront with discussions or readily provide updates on timelines.

They installed beautiful new vinyl panel flooring in living spaces and bathrooms, and gorgeous new bathroom cabinets and countertops, I'm so happy with the result of this part of the project! The only negative here is that outlets were moved in bathrooms to install the new countertops and backsplash but they never installed the outlets back into the wall or finished the drywall. It was left unfinished without any discussion. I had to fix this myself.

I also wanted my master shower and guest shower/tub to be refinished with white epoxy paint, but I would not recommend Bexar Essentials for shower and tub refinishing. The paint always remained a little tacky and held imprints, yellowed after a few weeks, there were gaps in the paint over the grout, and it peeled off with painters tape. They gladly redid it, but really with no lasting improvement. And on the final round, the crew left a plastic bag in the tub that stuck to and peeled off the paint when removed. I had to ask for a refund, which Joe gladly obliged.

When most of the projects were about 90% done progress slowed and I had to reach out to Joe before any update was given or wrap-up completed. In retrospect I also realized I was charged for the disposal and replacement of the toilets that I supplied, but they removed them to install the floor anyway and would have had to put them back on regardless. They never disposed of the toilets either. They were left on my front porch and luckily bulky pickup was coming through and I added them to the pile. I was only charged for the replacement and "disposal" of the second toilet after I asked for my shower refund, and the cost was deducted from my refund without any prior notice or discussion.
