Used Ash Showroom in the past to find wallpaper for my home and had a wonderful woman help find what I was looking for. Today, went in showed some inspiration pictures of what I was looking for. An older man pulled a few books and I shared it was not like the pictures, he said "sorry you can look through all the books yourself, I'm not withholding anything". Never did I accuse him of withholding anything, just asked for cleaner lines and more like what I showed him. He lacked customer service, very short and not helpful. Was in there for less than 7 min for this total interaction. Lost a customer.

I have been a customer of Ash Showroom for years and years. They have THE BEST collection of wallpaper in Michigan and I find their design expertise and customer service wonderful. When I moved into my house years ago, they helped me find all the wallpaper. When I had a flood, they helped me find new wallpaper. When I redecorated my great room, I bought a great couch from them and they helped me pull the look all together. Dan and his partner are great! They are honest and helpful and find ways to get you the custom look you want and save you money. Making an appointment is a good way to make sure they can spend the appropriate amount of time with you as decorating can be a long, detailed process. I couldn’t be happier with the final product. I highly recommend Ash Showroom!

Excited to work with designer. Paid $250 for an in-home consultation. Designer was almost an hour late. He didn’t bring anything to share. Asked us to come into store to look at wallpaper, fabrics, rug samples which he would have ready for us. Arrived on time the day of appointment and was scolded for not bringing in any wallpaper, fabric samples, or rug ideas!!! He was unprepared. Condescending, rude, and snooty. Unless you’re a big name millionaire, you’re treated like trash! Save your money!

Very condescending! I was treated in a very dismissive way. I would not go back to a place that gives an attitude like I was wasting their time. Discrimination is ugly whether it’s economic or racial.
