I visited the showroom of this local body armor manufacturer on a Saturday and was impressed by the service. All three staff members were exceptionally helpful, dedicating time to detail their commitment to quality in protection. The body armor carriers they produce are of superb quality, and it's notable that they manufacture their own ballistic plates.

For anyone seeking top-tier, innovative protection for their family, this company is highly recommended. Additionally, they retail Mira safety masks and provide expert advice on these products. If you're in the market for reliable personal protection equipment, this is the place to go.

My wife and I came to the showroom to learn and buy chest rigs. Jessie and Desiree were a huge help and went above and beyond to find the perfect setup. We loved the showroom. We were able to try on different chest rigs. We are very thankful for this place and the amazing help/customer service. We will definitely be returning customers and would highly recommend

Great products for a great price. Very impressed with the quality of all the materials and the comfort of the equipment. On top of an armor setup the Phoenix backpack is unbelievably lightweight and comfortable. I would never guess it was bulletproof with how light it is. It too seems extremely durable. The photos show a 5'4" female and a 6'3" male wearing the Invictus carrier with A2 plates installed.

Hands down the best customer service experience I have ever had! I have been following this company since they first started advertising in the valley back in 2012. I have always liked their products on their website. I recently looked them up again and was excited to find out they have a showroom so I grabbed the wife and we trekked out to N. Phx this afternoon. From the moment we walked in, I was glad I went in person to get my questions answered by their Sales Representative Carson. We had the pleasure of meeting Jessie and Desiree during our interaction as well. All of our questions were answered and both the Wife and I decided it was time to outfit ourselves with some high quality plates, trauma pads and vests along with several Molle Accessories. They had such a great sale going on that we purchased two bullet resistant backpacks that they offered as well. We will definitely be repeat customers for any future needs! EXCELLENT JOB to all three associates we interacted with today! They even helped us resize the vests and gave us a demonstration on how to mount the Molle accessories to the vest! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED LOCAL 2A BUSINESS!!!!

Beware of poor shipping and handling.

The items were horribly packed and insecurely shipped in a FedEx plastic envelope instead of a sturdy cardboard box. They only used one strip of tape to the flap. No other protection was added.

The AR concealment carrier was folded in half like a piece of paper; it came out wrinkled.

The AR500 patch had the invoice paper's ink rubbed into the white lettering. Terrible.

All items where tightly stacked together without additional protection, like bubble wrap or packing paper, into the FedEx envelope. AR500 did not even use a cardboard box.

I sent an email and photos with my concerns to the support team. The customer support response was quick and professional to mitigate and deflect their own failure in allaying the customer's displeasure.

The support team is blaming the Warehouse team and "forwarded" the concern, but nothing will come of it. Throwing their own warehouse team under the bus is the easiest thing for the company to do. I feel that I could not be the only person who received the AR Concealment Bundle in a plastic envelope.

I decided reluctantly to keep the items. AR500's return and exchange policy for store credit only is stacked against the buyer. Their return policy would make me lose more money since I would have to pay the return shipping and only get store credit.

If I had shipped the items back in the exact same terrible manner, the company would likely deny my claims in its own favor.

I have read comments on various sites.

I was giving AR500's products a chance to form my own opinions. I do like the product, but not so much for the company now.

Sadly, the awful shipping and lack of concern for the customer's first impression upon receiving the package are negatives for me.

I will most likely avoid AR500 and its sister site Ironsidebodyarmor.

All this disappointment and frustration could have been avoided by simply using a secured cardboard box, instead of a flimsy plastic envelope. Don't forget that FedEx also provides boxes.

This is a prime example of a business's failure in customer retention and bad first impression.

I highly doubt the company will respond to this review. They know what they did was unprofessional and wrong. They got the money in the end. That's all that matters to AR500Armor.

Recently got a different style carrier and needed to see how plates would fit personally at the store. Given recent events, shopping for this kinda kit is funny and sus. Armored Republic helped me choose the right plates with the correct cut for my carrier. In addition, their knowledgeable staff also educated me and made me feel represented! Thanks y'all!
