Alpine Fireplaces – Boise serviced our fireplace on 11/13/24, and we recommend them. Here's why:

Our home was built in late 2010 and Alpine installed the Alpine Fireplace in our home. It has worked flawlessly since (other than replacing the fan twice). In early November it would not stay lit and then would not re-light. The fireplace has never been serviced, which is something we never considered (bad choice on our part).

The Alpine technician was punctual, pleasant, and professional. He worked on our fireplace for several hours ... diagnosing the issue, replacing the wire to the wall switch, the wall switch, and the gas valve; cleaning all the fireplace components, and repainting some portions of the fireplace interior. The charge was $394.

The problem returned, and I called and spoke with a manager. He reviewed the service order and the issue with me, and determined the new valve was defective. He scheduled an appointment for yesterday and the technician changed out the defective valve and rechecked everything to ensure it was operating properly. There were no additional charges. The fireplace now works perfectly.

The reason we rated Alpine with a "5" is because of how they responded to the faulty new valve after the first service call. Stuff happens and sometimes new parts are defective ... what's important to us is how a company responds when that happens. Alpine responded calmly, objectively, and with the concern and professionalism one hopes to receive.

We worked with Andrew to have a new wood stove installed and everything was done perfectly, install technicians did a professional job and Andrew helped us choose the best size stove which was exactly what we needed. Alpine fireplace and there team went way above & beyond to get us a nice install and know what they are doing. We will continue to use them for any of our stove needs and highly recommend them.

Had my Alpine fireplace serviced ads I do every couple of years. Service went fine. Started using the fireplace about a month later and it intermittently turned of and would not automatically restart. So I called Alpine and explained the witnessed behavior. They sont out a couple of technicians within a day. The technicians diagnosed the problen ant took care of it. The call was considered part of the original service call. That in and of itself speaks highly of Alpine and their consideration for the customer. Highly recommend Alpine product and service!!!

Do not recommend using this company- wanted to try and shop local. Subpar treatment in the store even tho I knew exactly what I wanted and just wanted to see colors. Was given a time frame only to then have no contact once they took my money. I had to call/check in weekly to get updates and apparently only my sales rep could help me (he was terrible: Jason). Still waiting for my fire piece- was told it would be installed before the holidays. Of course I can’t get a refund at this point and apparently they can’t tell me when it will be delivered bc they don’t have authorization to schedule. So I’m just waiting with no information and most certainly could have gotten it cheaper elsewhere. Horrible experience when I’m dropping over 5k. INSANE.

Just had service work done on my new Alpine fireplace in a new build. Problem turned out to be minor but the help and great attitude of Dustin and crew was fantastic. Quick resolution of the problem that the manual did not address. Plus..Extremely helpful in taking the time to better explain the system and features of the remote I wasn't aware of.

Plus ...Alpine was able to get the Techs out for the service within 2 business days.

Best Customer Experience! Alpine Fireplaces is my go to business when I need help with my gas fireplace insert. Our older fireplace was turning off for no apparent reason, so I wanted a professional to find the answer and fix it. Nate with Alpine found that the pilot light assembly required maintenance. He cleaned the assembly, as well as the entire fireplace. It now looks like new and works perfectly. I will continue to be their customer.

The service technician was prompt, thorough and made our 14 year old fireplace look and perform like new. This is the 4th house that we have had Alpine install and service our fireplaces. They do great work and provide reliable products. You can't go wrong with Alpine.

I had originally contacted another fireplace supplier, but that experience went from good to terrible, to very disappointing.
Then I found Alpine Fireplaces--what a difference! Jason and his team are phenomenal!! Jason was patient as it took me some time to decide what I really wanted. He answered all of my questions and I was able to get a fireplace that was beautiful, yet affordable. The installation was more than what I could have hoped for. I won't go into all of the details, but Jason and his team were accommodating and very polite and professional. Thanks to Jason and the Alpine team, I LOOOVE my new fireplace!!! Thanks for being so amazing!!! (I'll post a picture soon.) 🙂
