Terrible return policy - shoppers beware! Extremely disappointed. We wanted to use a local vendor for our new kitchen lighting and found two fixtures we liked in one of Alloway's catalogs. We called and placed the order over the phone with the owner and waited over 3 weeks for them to arrive. We then had to pick them up from the store, got them home and realized they were just not right for our space. We went back the next day to return them only to find out they charge a 25% restocking fee and shipping/handling! The owner was cold and noted that the fine print on the receipt explains as much---after you've already purchased the lights. We ended up paying $360 for returning unused lights!!! TERRIBLE.

Ann @ Alloway Lighting was just simply amazing to work with. I have never had the chance to work with a specialty lighting company before and her expertise, pricing, and ability to understand our taste was incredible. We got extremely competitive pricing and more importantly the exact design and look we were going for. We gave her a vision and she found multiple options that were all great within our budget. Forget the big box boys and make your life easier by purchasing and consulting with Alloway and Ann. Trust me!

We wanted to shop locally and went to Alloway Lighting to see what selection they had for a table lamp for our living room. They had us flip through a few catalogues and we selected two or three lamps that we liked. The owner had us leave her our number and email address so she could send us real time availability of our picks.
After waiting for over a week for their call or email, I finally found one of the lamps we had chosen online and bought it from Lamps Plus. Sorry, we tried to give our business to a local shop but they were obviously too busy or not interested.

Abbie Berryhill was absolutely excellent from the moment I walked into the store, she was extremely knowledgeable and very friendly. She really went the extra mile doing hours of research helping me find a very specific outside lighting mount and fixture that our renovation required. I would absolutely recommend this company to anyone, and specifically request to work with Abbie! Thanks for everything, we will definitely be back for any future lighting needs.

Always good quality products here, and the staff is generally very helpful. I pay a bit more, but they stand behind what they sell. And the lights must be handled better than similar models that can be bought online, because they always seem to last longer when purchased at Alloway.

This is the place to go if you are looking for exciting and unique home lighting. The owners are incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. They will help you do lighting design for your entire house or for a single fixture. If you want what everybody else has, go to a big box store. If you want something original and custom designed for you, go to Alloway Lighting.

Recommend calling and making an appointment, but they also accommodated our last minute, holiday weekend shopping.

We purchased a light from Alloway that my wife shopped hard for, felt she found a nice light with a nice sales person, so we shelled out $350.00 for this light for our kitchen remodel. I thought it was expensive but this was my wife's call. We were put off and put off and this light took over 3 weeks to arrive. Here's the kicker..... Amazon had the SAME light for $150.00 and would have had it to our door in 2 days! That's one heck of a markup.
Guess this is our bad for not shopping around.... still a bad sour taste in our mouth from this purchase.
