If I could give zero stars I would have. Of the 5 things ordered two appliances ordered arrived damaged. My husband fixed the dishwasher and we are still arguing about the beverage refrigerator damage. The third appliance that is not satisfactory is the GE refrigerator. It has no handles. We haven yet installed the hood and oven so they too may have issues.

Apparently you need to order handles for one appliance in the appliance package separately. Except AJ Madison doesn’t tell you that.

Every image they have has handles - on all appliances. No where does it say handles not included for one of the four. Who wants a refrigerator with no handles - I get the if you want to upgrade pay extra but sending an appliance with no handles?

It too over a week for them to respond to my inquiry. Help desk person is appropriately professional but zero accountability. The result is should we want handles on our refrigerator we have to spend another $200. Weirdly we got 3 appliances with handles included and one with out.

I ordered now ordered handles from another vendor cause never ever ordering from AJ Madison again.

I worked with Grace in sales to find the perfect size refrigerator and with her help I picked one. I needed a refrigerator that would fit into a smaller space in an older home. I was unable to find any retailer in Portland Oregon that could find me something nice in the size I need. So I took a chance on A.J. Madison a crossed the U.S and sight unseen purchased it. Grace was great, kept me updated on my new purchase and was always available for questions. Thank you A.J. Madison and Grace. I absolutely love my new appliance!!

The most frustrating, disinterested company I have dealt with. Deflect, delay, ignore until you have no recourse because the order is delivered.

Ordered 3 appliances and learned that I needed a dryer side install kit from LG

On computer and music hold for 30 minutes. When call is finally answered I am then transferred to the computer again and the information and hold process started again. Transferred 4 times to 4 people who could not answer the simplest question, simply to add an installation kit for the 3 appliances I ordered.

At the last transfer, I was told I needed customer service which of course is who I called. Subsequently, a serious of boilerplate emails were sent by Rachel at AJ Madison, ignoring my inquiry about the needed installation kit, the ability of the costly AJ Madison installers to use the installation kit.

Rachel’s informs me: Since your order has already shipped, there will be 35% restocking fee. We understand that sometimes the wrong items are purchased, or an order is no longer needed. As for the phone hold times, I have checked with the team, and they have assured me that there have not been extended hold times in the last several days

1-14 update. After posting this review, AJ Madison responded with more boilerplate text and a resolutions email address. One week later, there is zero response to my resolutions email message. Evidently the ignore, delay, deflect will work, unless I simple refuse the delivery on receipt. There no reason to purchase from AJ Madison, these Brooklyn, NY operators, Michael Gross the invisible CEO of this operation.

Find a local appliance retailer with some interest in a successful transaction .

Slow delivery and awful customer service. I've waited over a month and AJ Madison always has a reason to cancel my delivery. 1st time was car issues, 2nd time it was snow, and 3rd time the product was delivered damaged. Now they're asking me to wait another month while a replacement is gathered.

I call up customer service, and I received no help at all. I run a rental business, and I can't keep telling my tenants every week to have patience because AJ Madison can't run an efficient business. I will be finding a better appliance provider for my rentals.

Do not order from AJ Madison. We have purchased 3 different items from them over the past 6 years but no longer. Ordered microwave but it was delivered 10 days later than projected date. We had an event so had to buy another microwave locally but they wanted to charge us $700 fee to return the unopened box. Now stuck with an extra appliance due to their incompetence.

Has to be the worst company to deal with. They have no care what so ever for the customers. I ordered dryer and washer only find out when delivered that we need appliances sold separately. Talk about shady, predatory business… Now I pay for the appliances and installation because I’m already invested in getting my dryer and washer working. I email to get info on how or when they will be coming. Ghosted! Nothing, they just take your money. WORST COMPANY! … beware to start doing business with this company. Many headaches to come if you. Good luck!

Ordered a washer. Arrived 3-4 weeks later. Had a significant dent in the side. Delivery people said to contact the company, no problem. Sent in three different damage notices, no response.

I can’t believe what it’s happening.
I bought a dishwasher that came broken, when plugged didn’t turn on. After spending HOURS calling to get a replacement I was told that they needed to send an electrician to say the obvious that the electrical wasn’t working.
I waited 3 weeks total for the technician and was told that the replacement part was going to be shipped but it was out of stock with NO date to be replaced.
Long story short. After LOTS of hours calling and emailing the company, they agreed to get me a refund IF I ship them the appliance label. I did it 2 weeks ago and so far nothing. Total of this is 12 weeks, I paid for something that came broken and the company is making my life hell to give me my money back. Worst customer service I’ve experienced. Do not buy from them, buy on Amazon, it’s a little more expensive but they don’t provide after purchase support if needed.
