We had our New Berlin bathroom remodeled by Advantage Design + Remodel in summer 2024 and the experience was wonderful. We had been putting the project off for years because it all felt very daunting. Advantage was the absolute right choice for us because they made everything easy and we really felt taken care of.

The design phase was so helpful. We thought we knew exactly what we wanted, but Casey had so many great ideas and insights that we never would have thought of. The rendering software they use was so helpful for us to really be comfortable with our design decisions.

We did get a little overzealous during the design phase and once all the bids came back from the sub-contractors, the budget had really exploded. Advantage's response to that situation was exactly what you would hope for. They were open and transparent about where unexpected costs arose and they worked really hard to get things back down to where we were comfortable, and the finished product is still stunning.

Advantage Design + Remodel is not the cheapest option there is, but you really get the extra value from the cost. Between the design services, the excellent project management, the dust mitigation, and the overall integrity of the team, it was money well spent. Our only regret is that we wish we would have done it sooner.

We needed a team that we could trust to efficiently complete the remodel of the only full bathroom in our Brookfield, WI 1960’s ranch home. AD+R did a fantastic job maintaining both the schedule and the quality of workmanship at the same time.

Communication was easy with the AD+R team and we always felt informed on the status of our project, from design through construction. We were especially impressed with their ability to capture our style and design a terrific plan using the space we had available. Every construction project will have its hiccups along the way, and when those minor concerns came up, AD+R was quick to follow up, resolving them before they became bigger issues.

We are beyond pleased with our home remodel from Advantage Design and Remodel. Our project was big—redo 2 ½ bathrooms as well as a new footprint, appliances, cabinets, and counters for our kitchen. It also included new paint, new wood stain, and the removal of a very dated popcorn ceiling. The professionals at Advantage helped us every step of the way. The designers took our kitchen from a vague idea of what we’d like, to discovering our needs and preferences for the space, to creating a design that was functional and beautiful. The workers quickly and carefully put together everything necessary to make our home the space it is today. Throughout the project, everyone from Advantage communicated with us frequently about our choices, timeline, and any questions. Our project was finished on time, and now we get to enjoy the cabinet space, modern design, quiet close drawers, high quality smart appliances, and no more popcorn ceiling! During the January power failure, an Advantage worker even came to our house and kept the furnace running on a battery power supply so our pipes wouldn’t freeze. We happily recommend Advantage Design and Remodel for your next home remodeling project, whether large or small.

What a disappointing experience. My wife and I were very excited to get an estimate to remodel our kitchen. Greg came out and was very thorough, he asked what we were looking for and seemed to be knowledgeable and genuinely excited for us and our project. He said he would have an estimate and some design ideas for us the following week on Tuesday. I did not receive any by the following Thursday so I emailed Greg to see if I missed something. He responded that he was a day behind and I'll have it by the end of the next day. Here we are over a month later and have heard absolutely nothing from them. If you don't want the business, you should just say so. Totally disappointed after a very promising initial consultation.

Since it really is the hub of our home, we wanted it done right and the end result exceeded our expectations. We recently had a great experience with Advantage Design and Remodel, even with all of the bumps and bruises of COVID-19. What was supposed to start in April 2020, didn’t get off the ground until August 2020. But that was our decision, and Greg and Andy were willing to be flexible and adjust our start date. From the beginning we felt comfortable with Greg and his explanations of the process and what to expect, as we had never embarked on such a large remodeling adventure that would effect the heart of our home. Bryan was great to work with, and help us envision our style/color palette without being overwhelmed by selections, and even went with our last minute twists and updates.

Throughout the construction process, we were aware of what was going on, the tradespeople were kind and courteous to our family and pets, and kept our construction site as clean as possible. Very responsive to email and texts if questions or issues, and followed up on everything. The project was on time, and on budget. Plus, we have the added security of knowing they will come back for any issues that may arise a year or two from now. Would not hesitate to use them again on a future project (which there definitely will be).

July 2021 Update- Still in love with our kitchen. But, the follow up to make sure things are still in proper working order and look good has been incredible.

Over a three years period we have used Advantage Design + Remodel for several projects—two and a half bathrooms, a solarium, a kitchen, a foyer addition, and a lower level art/craft studio. When entering a remodeling project, it is important to have strong communication, and a highly professional and valued relationship. We found Greg very easy to work with; he listened to what we wanted, made helpful suggestions, and came up with solutions as problems were discovered. Initial experience seemed great. Made an appointment for the initial consultation. A few days later Greg came to my home and we spoke for an hour about goals, design, process etc. When he left I was promised a design plan in 48 hours. I didn’t receive it. I spoke with him on the phone and he assured me it was coming the next day by 2pm. Today, it has been almost 2 weeks and it has been radio silence from him. He stood in my home and gave me this whole “we want your business” “support the local guys” but completely ghosted me. I have my reasons why I believe they did not want to do the project for me which is sad in 2024… However, at least a phone call or email would have been nice letting me know we were not going to be doing the remodel.
