An online search showed a wheelbarrow for $59.00 but when I got to the store it was listed at $99.00. When i brought it to their attention and showed them the prices were wrong, they got frustrated, didn’t understand Google and said the prices are the prices. Much better to go to Lowe’s, D&B or Walmart even.

The employees at the Mountain Home idaho Ace Hardware store remind me of the "good old days" when associates took the time to patiently help customers, from finding the right product to helping me carry heavy loads to my car. I have never had to run down help in this store, and never feel like I'm interrupting their work, when it's obvious they are busy on the floor. The manager must be doing a great job because his employees seem happy to work there and help. I just can't say enough.

HORRIBLE customer service. There were 3 people at the paint and one with the guns and no one even bothered to help even after I told my boyfriend I needed assistance (which the emplyees heard me say). We left and went to True Value and got AWESOME help. Don't waste your time with Ace, go across the street to True Value to do your business.

Walked in to look for some batteries. Not one soul asked if they could help, even though I looked like a lost puppy. I finally walked back up to the front counter and found a cashier who was standing there all alone where the batteries were and she pointed them out. I would think for a store that charges so much more than any of their competitors do, that they would be more helpful. I feel bad for the people who live in Mountain Home because you have nowhere else to go. High priced and not very helpful. I waited until I got to Boise and bought my 8 little 9 volt batteries. Saved a ton vs Ace Hardware. Sorry but I can't recommend them.

The staff over at Ace are always the best! Jared, Jay and the whole crew always help me find everything I need as a contractor to get the job done! I recommend their store to everyone and couldn't be happier with the service that they provide every day!

A couple of months ago I went to ACE and, at their suggestion, purchased what I needed. Primer paint, good coverage.

Fast forward to yesterday...I open the can of 1% milk that was supposed to be my paint. It was opaque.

Today, I went in and explained my plight. Hunter, manager, stepped in when he realizes I had been sold the completely wrong thing. He apologized and personally took care of getting the correct paint.

I was worried going in because it has been a little bit ago, but he was terrific and made it right immediately.

Thank you. It's nice to find excellent customer service these days.

The only reason I did a 4 is because of being sold the wrong thing to begin with. 🙂
